Last weekend was my last relaxing time before leaving for New York Fashion Week this week. I already had my schedule figured out, travel arrangements nailed down, outfits planned, and the only thing left to do was pack! So to go along with my relaxed vibe, I wore casual outfits such as these boyfriend jeans paired with a beautiful Lotus Leap Bracelet.

Lotus Leap is a fabulous jewelry company based in the South Bay. I love Lotus Leap’s customizable jewelry; and the fact that they are in the Bay Area! Love local designers!

With Lotus Leap, you can pick out the style of bracelet you would like. After choosing a bracelet style, you can choose charms you would like on your bracelet based on color, style, or what speaks to you! Love that!

I love my new Lotus Leap Bracelet. The angel in the middle reminds me of my faith, and the sparkling circles on either side of the angel show my subtle glam side. The color is perfect for fall too. I’m in love!

Lotus Leap Bracelets are affordably priced, and since they are customizable, they will make great gifts this upcoming holiday season. Lotus Leap even has a Christmas Tree charm! How perfect will that be for holiday parties, gifts, and eveything holiday related!

Since the bracelets are adjustable, they can also be designed for young girls. My eleven-year-old daughter has already asked me for one of her own! Perhaps Santa will slip one into her stocking this upcoming Christmas 😉

Lotus Leap Jewelry can be found, and customized, online at LotusLeap.com or at Oakridge Mall in San Jose at a kiosk near the food court.

Fall midi skirt outfit

One of my favorite outfits on a warm summer, or early fall day, is a midi skirt with a comfortable, lightweight tee. It is perfect for getting out of jeans here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We are a casual bunch here in NorCal. So, when someone is dressed up, they stick out like a sore thumb; not in a good way. By pairing a dressier midi skirt with a casual tee, I can create a combination which is both occasion appropriate, and reflects Bay Area style. Not only that, tee shirts are more comfortable than jeans! Win/win 😉

This midi skirt is a fall piece. Since our weather in the Bay Area doesn’t cool down until late October, sometimes early November, being able to pair a fall piece with a lightweight, comfortable piece, is the easiest way to look “fall-ish,” without feeling fall; if you catch my drift 😉

What is your favorite way to look fall, yet stay cool, when the temperatures still scream summer?

Late summer into early fall weekend look

Nothing says fall like leopard print pumps, and military green! I love spicing up fall casual looks, and weekend wear, with leopard print! It is always a fun, autumn look.

I wore this outfit out to dinner with my kids last weekend. It was perfect for the weather, yet still offered a fall-like vibe. My eleven year old daughter took these pictures. I think she did a pretty good job! Love it!

I look forward to wearing this outfit often in August and September as we transition from summer into fall.  What is your favorite color combination for transitioning from summer into fall?
