Holiday gift ideas at Santana Row 2018

holidays gifts santana row san jose 2018

Have you been to Santana Row in San Jose lately? It’s beautiful! They really outdid themselves with their holiday decorations this year! The holiday tree is beautiful, and there is a fun mailbox where you can mail letters to Santa! I know the letter I mailed was filled with gifts Santa can find right here on Santana Row.  There are so many things I want! I bet your list is long too!

Chances are, you have not completed your holiday shopping list yet. Same here! The best place to finish your holiday shopping is in San Jose at Santana Row. They have so many fun stores filled with fabulous gifts for the holidays. Plus, you can make a day of it! Arrive early, and you can enjoy brunch at Left Bank, coffee at Cocola, dim sum at Sino; and stay all day so you can enjoy a fabulous dinner at LB Steak! It really is a stay, shop, and play, kind of place to go!

In case you aren’t sure where to begin, I have rounded up four of my favorite shops on the Row and snaped a few pictures to show you my favorite gift ideas from the stores! SO, without further ado, here are my favorite gift ideas from Santana Row this year:

Gifts for the girl who loves glitter: Kendra Scott

As you know, Kendra Scott is one of my favorite jewelry stores. So, of course I would show you the fabulous gifts they have in store! That bold ring is a must-have for anyone on your list who loves to sparkle. The gift sets make shopping easy when you aren’t sure what to get. They also have nail polish, and home decor in store! There is something for everyone who likes a little sparkle in their life at Kendra Scott. Plus, they have plenty of gifts under $100, and under $50. Love that!

Check out these gift ideas and more at the Kendra Scott shop on Santana Row. Call 669.231.0300 for more info.

Gifts for the bold fashionista on your list: Chico’s

Chico’s is such a fun store to find bold, fashionable, and fabulous clothing, accessories, and gifts. You’ll find a treasure trove in store at Chico’s Santana Row! They have a ton of bracelets in the color of 2018 in stock, plus plenty of fabulous scarves and sweaters which make great gifts!

Gifts for sweet tooth: Sugarfina

There must be plenty of people on your holiday shopping list who love something sweet! Sugarfina has you covered! They have sweet treats for everyone on your list including kids, men, Hello Kitty fans, Mickey Mouse fans, and more!

Stop into the Sugarfina store on Santana Row to see these treats and more, or call 855.784.2734 for more info.

Gifts for the understated fashionista on your list: Aritzia

Aritzia has fabulous, classic sweaters, knits, and more in stock. It is a great place to find something for someone on your list who love understated fashion. They also have fabulous gifts under $100, and under $50. Love that!

Of course, there are so many more shops on Santana Row than what I mentioned here. If you stroll through the Row, you are bound to find something for everyone on your list! Be sure to visit Santana Row’s website and if you can’t find something for that picky person on your list, a Santana Row gift card can be bought at the concierge! Love!

Getting into the holiday spirit

I’m so excited for the holiday season! 2018 has been a bumpy year. My step-father passed away, I had internal bleeding and had to be rushed to the hospital, the wildfires in our state have been out of control, and there have been little hiccups along the way. The holiday season is a happy time which always brings our family together; reminding us all of what is important. It’s exactly what I need to get passed everything that went on this year!

One of the most important things during the holiday season, is getting everything ready! Since I am running around, prepping to host Christmas, helping my Mom host Thanksgiving, and making sure my kids are prepared and having fun at all their holiday activities, I need to be dressed comfortably. Of course, by comfortable I don’t mean sweats and a tee! I need to look put together and chic; yet still be able to last all day to get everything done!

This fabulous new Coolmax® turtleneck by Chico’s is a game changer. Since it is finally sweater season, I need a comfortable knit top which not only keeps me warm, but keeps me going all day. This soft new Chico’s turtleneck is my new go-to top this season. I can wear it alone, layer it with a scarf, or wear it under a cardigan or coat on really cold days. It’s a must-have piece during the holiday season; as well as throughout winter!

The Coolmax® turtleneck by Chico’s has fourteen colors available, so we can all pick one up in a few colors. It also makes a fabulous gift this holiday season since it’s well under $100. To make it even better, it’s machine washable! Three cheers to that!

Remember how I said I need to look chic yet comfortable? These velvet pants feel like pajama pants, yet look dressy and put together. They can be worn with 5″ heels to a holiday party or the theater; or they can be dressed down for daytime looks with booties. These pants will be worn by me quite a bit over the season. I love them during the day when I want look festive, plus I will be wearing them to holiday house parties, and the Nutcracker later in the season. These are the perfect pants for the holidays! Love!

I’m so thankful for the these comfortable pieces from Chico’s to help me navigate the busy holiday season, while looking like I had time to put together a chic look. Of course with three kids, I never have that kind of time! I would look like a slob without this outfit! haha

I plan on picking up this new Coolmax® turtleneck by Chico’s in blue, purple, and ivory for the winter and holiday season. I need to pick up a few for presents too! Which color or colors are your favorite?

Chico’s No-Iron Sateen Shirt is a classic must-have

classic no iron shirt bay area street stylechicos no iron sateen shirt

wearing: bold blue and gold earrings / fall sunglasses / lipstick / No Iron Sateen Shirt c/o Chico’s found on Amazon / holiday nail polish / vintage belt / black handbag / grey bootcut jeans / black boots (old, also love this pair)

There is nothing like a classic shirt for your closet. I love a shirt which makes jeans look sleek and put together, and that also can be paired with trousers, or a suit, for the office. That is the ultimate in versatility!

This shirt is by Chico’s, and can be found in their Amazon shop online. It comes in a TON of colors and prints; so I definitely want more than one, don’t you? It’s really comfortable this time of year since the fabric is just thick enough for moderate weather, and it is just thin enough to be layered under a blazer, jacket, or sweater. Love that!

It’s been really cold this week, which is fun because it finally feels like we are moving towards winter! The sky has been grey, but not grey enough to give us rain; which we always need more of here in California! haha You can see the grey skies, and dark weather in these photos. This is how it has been all week! Brrrrr!

You always know it’s darker than normal when the holiday lights are still on during the day on the trees! You can just make them out in these photos. I love how downtown Saratoga has holiday lights on the trees throughout the year. It’s beautiful at night, and the lights also signal grey days when they don’t shut off during normal daylight hours!

I might need to pick up this shirt in some more colors to off-set these grey days! You can find yours online here.
