Leather cuffs and bracelets for summer into fall

Leather cuffs and leather bracelets have been huge the past few seasons. Although, for summer 2012 and for fall 2012 leather cuffs and leather bracelets are exploding as arguably the most popular bracelet style on the street.

While not dominant on the runways, designers and jewelry brands alike have been designing and selling their own versions of the rocker chic leather bracelet. Fashionistas have flocked to the jewelry style over the past few seasons and the trend has taken off for summer 2012 and fall 2012.

Leather cuffs and bracelets have been shown in every color, type of leather and faux leather imaginable. Exotic skins, plain leather and faux leather are being shown on hard cuffs, soft bracelets and soft wrap bracelets.

Cuff bracelets which are made from leather are mainly being shown in smooth, understated styles. The unembellished cuffs are usually made from metal and feature leather or faux leather stretched around the outside to create a non-shiny, understated jewelry piece which is colorful and playful.

Bracelets made from leather and faux leather are anything but plain. Leather bracelets are shown with studs and embellishments for summer and fall. Leather bracelets for summer and fall offer rock n’ roll style as well as hardcore chic. The bracelets are shown as a traditional, once around style or as a wrap style which can go around the wrist anywhere from two to four times.

Leather cuffs and leather bracelets are also popular on the street as part of the stacked bracelet trend. Fashionistas love to stack about three bracelets on their arms and in general, one of these bracelets is made from leather and offers a spiky, rock n’ roll feel.

Leather bracelets also happen to be comfortable and are a great way to add a little sass and an edgy feel to any casual ensemble. We love them with fall’s leather legging trend! Love this! We found a few fabulous leather cuffs and bracelets from around the web, including a couple from Prada, and assembled them into the Polyvore set below. Hope you love it! Leopard print for fall 2012 is the cat’s meow

Leopard print is a fall favorite among both designers and consumers. Every year leopard print, and exotic animal prints for that matter, grace the runways, appear on store shelves and flood city streets in droves. For fall 2012, leopard print is the most prominent of the exotic animal prints and has moved to the front of the line as arguably the most important print for the fall 2012 season.

Leopard print is appearing on shoes, handbags, clothing and accessories for fall 2012. Designers are not just creating one pair of shoes or one handbag in the feline print, designers such as Prada, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo have designed multiple styles for fall 2012; proving the importance of the print for the cool weather season.

This may be the most important accent for the fall 2012 season. Adding meow-worthy leopard print to any ensemble this fall season is the easiest way to update one’s wardrobe or add a feminine touch to a menswear inspired look. Smoking slippers, platform pumps, flat soled heels and boots are an understated way to add leopard to an outfit. Leopard print handbags and jackets are a bolder way to add the print to one’s wardrobe; but one must be warned-all over leopard print is definitely too much of a good thing.

Leopard print is racy by nature, but can easily be toned down when worn as a shoe or subtle accent. When worn as an article of clothing or all over the body, leopard print can become racy in the wrong way-if you know what I mean  The trick with wearing leopard print is to only wear ONE piece. Everything worn with leopard print should be neutral and should not compete with the print. This will ensure an understated yet on-trend look for the fall 2012 season.

We found a few fabulous leopard print items currently online and assembled them into the Polyvore set below. Hope you love it! Happy shopping and stay fabulous

Hats are the ultimate accessory for the fall 2012 season

Ever since the Royal wedding where Kate Middleton married Prince William in a romantic, fairy-tale event, Fashionistas everywhere have been obsessed with the fascinators and hats worn by the wedding guests. While fashion-savvy shoppers ran out and purchased every fascinator they could get their hands since the famous wedding, the fascination with fascinators has leveled off and traditional hats have taken center stage.

Designers finished off their looks on the runways for the fall 2012 season with hats. With the incoming menswear trend and a return to more structured, polished dressing, it is no wonder that the traditional accessory known as the “Hat” has returned to the forefront of fashion. The question is, will hats make it from the runway to the streets?

Hats have been popping up on the streets, even before the fall season has officially kicked off. Fashionistas have been spotted wearing men’s hats, floppy sun hats and the occasional fascinator is still being spotted on the head of the utterly fashionable.

While hats are currently being favored by the more daring, style-setter types, it should be interesting to see if more understated Fashionistas take to the trend and treat hats as just another accessory to finish off an ensemble. Or, will the hat become a fleeting trend left in the trunk of cars as women decide they are more annoying than chic? Only time will tell, as for right now, it’s hats on ladies
