Summer is upon us! This means it is time to find the perfect beach tote which will work not only at the beach, but will look fabulous and “hot-off-the-runway” poolside too!
Although bright colors are hot right now, there is a slight trend towards calmer hues and neutral tones. Perhaps Fashionistas on the street are becoming tired of all the bright eye candy?
For the summer of 2013, look for beach totes with stripes and neutral colors. Designers are showing shades of tan, black and white spruced up with navy, blue, red, yellow and orange touches. Of course, colors are hot this season, so bright pink, cobalt and green beach bags work too!
I found a few fabulous beach totes around the web which will cart everything a fashion-savvy girl needs to the beach, the pool or for a weekend getaway. All of these fabulous tote bags are assembled into the shopping widget below. Hope you love them! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous

Lace dresses for summer 2013

Lace has been a huge trend over the past few years, and for summer 2013 lace dresses have exploded with popularity. These sweet yet seductive styles are being shown mainly in A-line and sheath style dresses which hit at the knee or just above the knee.

The lace dress is turning out to be “the little black dress” of the season. Lace dresses are perfect for cocktail parties, dinner parties, going to the theater and other evening activities. In addition to being an evening staple this season, the lace dress is also perfect for wearing to a luncheon or afternoon wedding!

When it comes to colors, darker hues work perfectly at night while soft beige and white shades look crisp and refreshing during the day. Although, a white lace dress at night can be the ultimate statement for the summer 2013 season!

Lace dresses are being shown in all of the colors of the season ranging from sweet pastel hues to neon shades. Neutral colors including beige, white, black and coffee are also staples for the summer season. If you live in a warm climate, a lace dress in coffee or black can easily take you through the fall season; all you need to do is switch up your accessories! Love that!

On the runways, designers created color blocked lace dress and also used lace as an overlay with other fabrications. They also used lace as an accent fabric on dresses. Although solid colored lace dress are what has been spotted the most on the street, the runway trends are still available as an alternative to a solid lace dress. That being said, if a full lace dress is a little too much for you, look for lace trim or a lace overlay if you still want to rock this trend for summer 2013.

Since lace dresses are so fabulous, I found a few amazing pieces around the web and assembled them into the shopping widget below. To shop, simply click on the photo you like and you will be redirected to the online shop where you purchase the dress! Hope you love them! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous

Military green jacket: the trend returns

Military green jackets have made a comeback on the street for the spring and summer 2013 seasons. This casual article of clothing was hot back in the late 1990’s and thankfully I kept this jacket made from D&G Sport. The military green jacket is a great, lightweight basic to have in your closet. The color is somewhat neutral and blends well with shades of brown, autumn hues, yellows, dark red, pinks, black and white. The jacket style is easy to wear in moderate weather and perfect for foggy days here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
