Gucci has released their spring/summer 2016 color collection, and it is fabulous; with a bit of a bad girl vibe. The collection includes two lipstick hues, an eye shadow duo, and one amazing nail polish color. Love!

For the nails, Gucci Dark Anemone nail polish is a dark, grey-purple hue which is surprisingly easy to wear with a spring, or summer, color palette. At first glance, the color appears to be a autumn hue.

This troubled me when I first looked at the color; I feared it would clash with my spring pastels, and summer brights. I was wrong! Dark Anemone by Gucci blends well with pastels, giving them a grown up feel. When paired with bright summer hues, Dark Anemone tones them down; adding a bit of mystery. Love that!

What I love about Gucci Dark Anemone nail polish, is that it is a great alternative to neutral polish. It blends seamlessly with any color combination in my outfits, making it as easy to wear as a nude polish. I definitely see myself wearing this color in lieu of blue when I need more versatility this spring in my nail polish color.

I tested out Gucci Dark Anemone nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and one top coat. The polish lasted six days before chipping. This is a good run! I look forward to wearing this polish sporadically throughout the spring and summer seasons.

Have you seen the lipstick colors Gucci is offering for spring/summer 2016? Although I have already filled in my spring lipstick wardrobe, I am tempted to pick up both of these hues. Aren’t they pretty! Carnation is definitely calling my name; and Lilac looks perfect for a night on the town. Oh the temptation!

Christian Louboutin has not one, but two nail polish collections for the spring 2016 season. The Christian Louboutin Hawaii Kawaii collection features two separate coffret’s; Collection I and Collection II.  I decided to go with the Christian Louboutin Hawaii Kawaii Collection I nail polish coffret for spring 2016 since it contained a fabulous bluish-green nail polish hue named Batignolles.

If you have been following along, you may have noticed I love Christian Louboutin nail polish after it is applied. I find the brushes to be too thin to paint with; it makes nail polish application awkward. After a few tries, I figured out how to use the brushes, and have found it worth the effort to use the thin brush since they result in beautiful nails. Since the special edition coffrets contain mini nail polish bottles instead of full size bottles, the brushes are even smaller! Ugh!

Don’t get me wrong, despite my annoyance with the thin applicator brush, I love how long lasting Christian Louboutin’s nail polishes are. I also love the color saturation! For spring 2016, Christian Louboutin has delivered on his two nail polish coffrets, giving nail polish fans the ultimate in color saturation, playful hues, and that Hawaiian vacation feeling! Love!

The Christian Louboutin Hawaii Kawaii Collection I nail polish coffret for spring 2016 offers three fabulous hues which instantly transport you to the beautiful Island of Kawaii. The coffret includes “Very Prive,” which is a dark, yet vibrant red nail polish hue that is sure to turn up the heat on warm spring nights, and summer days! The blue-green shade, which is my favorite, is “Batignolles.” The third nail polish color is “Miss Loubi” which is a very bright coral pink that would pair well with a pair of Pigalles.

Miss Loubi and Batignolles are definitely my favorite colors from Collection I. The pink in Collection II is too bright for my liking and I am not really a fan of black nail polish in the spring. I feel like Collection I is the perfect coffret for the season.

So far I have only tested out Batignolles, and it stands up to Christian Louboutin’s name! The nail polish is long lasting, and downright fabulous! I am looking forward to wearing this hue often in both the spring, and summer seasons. I am also looking forward to wearing Miss Loubi on warm days. It is such a fun coral hue! I feel like it will be perfect in the summer for beach days, warm evening parties, and general fun in the sun!

Dior Cruise nail polish is a fabulous new color from Dior’s summer 2016 beauty collection. This sparkly, pink hue is so pretty and perfect for summer 2016, love!

Pink nail polish is a hot beauty trend right now, and Dior Cruise nail polish for summer 2016 is a fabulous way to rock this trend right now, and into the summer season. The nail polish is a bright, vivid pink, filled with sparkles! Who doesn’t love sparkles 😉

Cruise by Dior is an easy nail polish color to wear on a daily basis. Pink nail polish is considered neutral, so it blends well with different beauty looks, and any color palette. It feels like a natural color to wear. Love that!

I tested out Dior Cruise nail polish for summer 2016 with one base coat, two coats of Cruise, and one top coat. The nail polish is incredibly long lasting. It lasted a full week. The reason I took it off was due to nail growth.

The application brush on Dior’s nail polish also needs a shout out. I love the application brush. It is on the thick side, yet it offers a flat design. This allows the nail polish to glide on easily, without a mess. The brush applies the polish without gaps, and the brush design keeps polish off the sides of my fingers. Love that!

Dior Cruise nail polish is a fun color to wear on warm sunny days. The sparkles catch the sun when I am outside, and of course, they shine! It makes the polish lighthearted, and fun; just like summer!

I absolutely adore Dior Cruise nail polish for summer 2016. This will be a great color for everyday wear; definitely a go-to neutral for the summer months. If you are looking for a fun, and fabulous, pink to wear this summer, Dior Cruise nail polish is your color!
