The Fendi DotCom satchel is one of the hottest new handbags of 2016. Fendi is already known for designing beautiful, high quality, timeless handbags, so when they launched the Fendi DotCom, I knew it would be a winner!

The initial launch of the Fendi DotCom satchel offers the handbag in a creamy milk hue, classic black, cool sky blue, bark, red, and dove grey. There are also versions with whip-stitching!. Although the black with cobalt clutch insert was calling my name,  I already have a couple of black satchels, so I decided to go for the dove grey since I do not own a satchel in this neutral hue. I am so glad I went with this color! The dove grey will be a beautiful light color for the spring and summer months; plus it is a color which transcends season. Love!

The Fendi DotCom satchel is made from smooth leather with a suede interior. The leather can scratch, which I already found out, but the scratch blends into the leather and cannot be easily seen without really looking hard. I have a feeling over time, the leather will soften a bit and offer a beautiful patina. I am looking forward to it aging a bit.

I love the versatility of the Fendi DotCom satchel. It has two large compartments with two equal interior pockets which each fit an iPhone perfectly. The interior clutch is offered in a contrasting color, mine is poppy. The clutch is great for storing small items such as keys or lipstick. It can also be removed and worn as a clutch. This makes the Fendi DotCom a great day into evening bag. You can go from work to dinner just by removing the clutch and carrying it in lieu of the satchel. Love that!

There are two ways to carry the Fendi DotCom satchel. There is a classic lady bag satchel top handle which can be worn over the forearm, or carried by hand. The Fendi DotCom satchel also offers a detachable shoulder strap which allows the bag to hang at the hip. The straps are on the thick side; making them extremely comfortable. I am in love!

The interior is roomy enough to carry file folders for work, an iPad, a book, and I can detach the lens from my DSLR camera and place both parts in the bag. It is great! This is a perfect satchel for work if you do not have to carry too many things with you. It has a beautiful formal, structured look which looks fabulous with office attire, dressy attire, daytime fundraiser ensembles, and a fabulous lunch outfit. This can easily be a workhorse handbag.

The Fendi DotCom satchel is currently part of Fendi’s resort 2016 collection, but it will be continuing for many seasons to come since it is already proving to be popular. The handbag is selling out fast!

Leave it to Chloe to design another fabulous handbag! The Chloe Inez handbag is a hot new handbag style from Chloe which is making it’s debut for the spring 2016 season. Isn’t it fabulous!

The Chloe Inez handbag is being offered in both leather and suede. I chose the leather version in black because I felt like it worked best with my lifestyle; and leather is more durable than suede. I love the studs which vary in size and texture. It really adds a special quality to the exterior of the Chloe Inez. The single tassel also adds an edgy vibe to the over all look of the handbag. I am in love!

There is a bit of versatility with the Chloe Inez. Although it is a small handbag, the straps convert to a long, single shoulder strap which allows the bag to hit at the hip or be worn cross-body; or the straps can be pulled in order to be shortened into a double strap shoulder bag, which hits at the rib-cage. It is always a plus when you can adjust the straps!

The interior space of the Chloe Inez is roomier than you might think. Since it is a pouchette style handbag, the interior space is rounded and offers enough space for a sunglasses case, smart phone, lipstick, keys, and wallet with a little bit of space to spare for a pack of gum or a small notepad.

There is one interior pocket in the Chloe Inez which I find useful for receipts or notes I might want to take with me. The closure is a one inch, small strap with a magnetic snap. It is a strong magnet which can find itself; so I find it to be very to use.

The overall style of the Chloe Inez is a bit rock and roll meets boho. I love how it looks with jeans, maxi skirts, and anything which is casual and flowing. This is definitely my go-to bag on casual days. I think it will look amazing this spring and summer with warmer weather outfits. It is perfect for throwing on with cut-offs and flip flops, or a flowing boho-chic sundress.

The Proenza Schouler medium tote bag instantly caught my attention when it debuted just before Christmas. I have always wanted  a Proenza Schouler handbag, but never actually pulled the trigger and purchased one. When this luscious tote bag appeared on my laptop screen in a beautiful turquoise color, succulent green color, beautiful brown, dark classic black, and crisp white, I knew I had to have one in my life!

Since blue is my favorite color, the turquoise tote bag was the obvious choice for me; I finally found my Proenza Schouler bag! The Proenza Schouler medium tote bag in turquoise was a pre-order item, so I didn’t think I would get my hands on it until early spring. Then, FedEx came to my door less then a week after I pre-ordred the bag and surprised me with it! Imagine my excitement! It was a Christmas miracle 😉

I was more than thrilled to pull the medium tote bag out of the shipping box. The leather is extremely buttery soft. If you are familiar with Balenciaga, imagine the softness of their leather, but a bit thicker. This leather is not only feather soft, it is thick and durable. Perfection!

I was instantly drawn to the details and craftsmanship of  my new Proenza Schouler medium tote bag in turquoise. The closure is a hidden magnetic closure which is strong, yet easy to get in and out of. I love having a tote bag which is secure; so many are wide open, and tempting for pick pockets. The magnetic closure adds a bit of security to the bag which makes me feel a bit safer when I am in the city; especially on public transit in the city!

The interior of the Proenza Schouler medium tote bag feature a roomy zipper pocket, and suede lining. I am a girl who loves luxury inside and out; and Proenza Schouler delivers on this tote! The little fringe charm is eye-catching as well. It features a hidden key fob in case you want to hide your keys in it! 😉

There are two, semi-thin tube straps on my Proenza Schouler medium tote bag. They are soft and comfortable. The straps are long enough to throw over my shoulders; making this a shoulder bag and giving it an almost-hobo-like look. Love that!

Proenza Schouler offers their tote bag in both a medium and large size. I have the medium which is extremely roomy. Although I didn’t picture it above, I can fit my small laptop in this tote. I don’t normally carry my laptop with me unless I am traveling, so I photographed what I normally carry with me; a blanket scarf, wallet, lipstick, keys, book (I am always waiting for my kids), hand cream, and iPhone. With these items, there is still plenty of room for snacks, a water bottle, and random things my kids will hand me when we are out somewhere.

Although this tote in black or neutral would be practical, I am in love with the bright, yummy turquoise Proenza Schouler created for their medium tote bag. It is cheerful, and brings a bit of sunshine to me on a dreary winter day. Plus, this will be a hot color as we move into the spring and summer seasons. Love that!
