Checking out the new Nintendo store

If you are into eSports and gaming, then you are already aware of the new Nintendo store in San Francisco! Located on Union Square, the new Nintendo San Francisco offers two stories of merch, consoles, and of course, games! Since the store just opened last week, we found ourselves in a line just to enter and shop.

We went on a weekday, since on weekends you need to make an appointment to shop. This meant waiting in a standby line for one hour and twenty minutes. The line wasn’t bad since Nintendo had employees come out and talk to us about games. Plus, the other customers were friendly and there was a sense of community in the line. This made the line feel quite fast!

Once we entered the store, we had thirty minutes to shop. This was the right amount of time for my kids to choose what they wanted and also float around the store to see everything. We had a lot of fun, and my kids left happy. Love that!

I decided to wear my go-to black pants and this fun, white peplum top with a twist. It is perfect for the office as well as other occasions. There’s nothing like a classic white top with black pants. It is always an easy outfit, or shall I say, go-to outfit!

After our shopping adventure, we walked up to Chinatown and tried a restaurant I saw on TikTok. I know it sounds risky, but the place ended up being delicious! We enjoyed dimsum including pork xlb, sticky rice shumai, and the cheese and corn bao’s pictured above. Yum! The restaurant was Dumpling Fushion, and I recommend!

So, if you plan to visit the new Nintendo store, be sure to make a reservation for the weekend, or try going on a weekday; just wear comfy shoes and plan for the line. Have fun with it!

School years are ending, and summer vacations are beginning! This means the summer season is here, even if the calendar still claims it is spring. Our mindset is already summer.

Since summer season is upon us, our style is moving more into shades of pink and warm hues, as well as neutrals. In addition, western styles are gaining momentum as country music gains popularity and blurs the lines into pop music. Get ready for summer music concerts! Western boots, hats and more will be the attire of choice. Love that!

Straw totes are always needed in the summer months. Do you have the perfect one? This fabulous tote bag can be easily customized with initials, a fun quote, your name, a destination, and anything you can think of! Mine says “Jet Set” but you can have them embroider anything you want! Love!

Summer nail polish is here, and we are seeing warm hues, gold, pastels, and of course, lots of pink! If you work in a conservative office environment, you can choose from the many pinks, otherwise, have some fun with an avant-garde color. Love this!

National High Heels Day 2025

Happy National High Heels Day! Today is a fun day when we can celebrate our high heels! This is also an excuse to wear those high heels sitting in our closets collecting dust. Love that!

While kitten heels are taking over the footwear world at the moment, high heels are still relevant and timeless. After all, how else can be make our legs looks longer, and appear taller than we are? That’s right! High heels!

This pair of high heels I am featuring in this post, are my current obsession. They have arch support and are easy to stand and walk in all day long. This is important in case we wear high heels to the office, or for a long event. Comfort and high heels in the same breath? Yes please!

So, in order to celebrate National High Heels Day, put on your favorite high heels and rock them all day long! This is also a fabulous day to shop for a new pair of high heels to add to your collection. After all, a girl can never have enough shoes. Love that!
