Chanel fall 2020 nail polish and lipstick from left: Chanel Rouge Coco Flash in Lust / Chanel Egerie nail polish / Chanel Interdit nail polish /

The Chanel fall 2020 nail polish collection is here! Not surprisingly, the colors are simple, chic, and classic; which is a true reflection of the fall 2020 season.

Fall 2020 is all about keeping things simple and classic. This nail polish for the autumn season provides that very vibe. The pink is chic, and the red is vampy; both ideal fall colors for a classic look. Love it!

So, without further ado, let’s dig in to the fall 2020 nail polish collection from Chanel!

Chanel nail polish fall 2020 : Chanel Interdit

Chanel Interdit nail polish for the fall 2020 season is a dark and vampy red hue. It is a deep and mysterious red with dark blue undertones bordering on black. It actually reminds me of vamp! Which is interesting given that fall 2020 fashion has 1990s influences. Chanel Interdit nail polish will blend in perfectly with these vibes!

If you are a classic, red nail polish girl, this is your hue of fall 2020. Interdit by Chanel can be worn both day and night; making it fabulous for the office and a night on the town. Or, if you are still locked down like we are in California, it can make you feel like you have someplace to go.

Chanel nail polish fall 2020 : Chanel Egerie

Pink is another timeless nail polish hue. To reinvent this classic shade, Chanel is giving us Egerie for the fall 2020 season. This is a light pink nail polish color with slightly white undertones. It is more of a pale pink than one would expect for the autumn season. This makes Chanel Egerie nail polish a feminine and playful hue for the fall season. If you are still on lockdown, this is a color you can put on and not worry about if it chips. Since it is such a light color, chips won’t show easily. Love that!

There are more colors from Chanel in their fall 2020 lipstick collection than just Lust. But, this was the one color I was drawn to. After all, when I go out in public I am wearing a mask. This dark yet sheer color is perfect for video conferencing since it shows up without being heavy. I am a huge fan of the Rouge Coco Flash collection. The colors offer sheer color and the lipstick itself is moisturizing and long lasting. Love!

Which color is your favorite for the fall season? Chanel Interdit nail polish is my favorite hue, but I will definitely get a lot of use out of Egerie too!

Elizabeth Arden Red Door Red lipstick review

elizabeth arden red door red lipstick review

wearing: lipstick c/o Elizabeth Arden in Red Door Red #2 / white and silver earrings (similar here) / black top (currently on major sale!) / blue nail polish /

How fun is this classic red hue from Elizabeth Arden?! It’s a bright and chic shade of classic red; which is a lipstick color we all need in our beauty bag. This one in particular has a special history and mission.

In 1912, Elizabeth Arden marched as a Suffragette down Fifth Avenue in New York. As a symbol of solidarity with her fellow Suffragettes, she handed out red lipstick to all the ladies. In order to celebrate Elizabeth Arden’s history of advocating for voter rights, I have partnered with Elizabeth Arden to feature this fabulous red lipstick! Loving red!

Red Door Red #2 is a classic red hue from her Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick collection; which includes several fabulous hues. The lipstick itself has strong staying power, and doesn’t smudge easily. It stays put! Love that!

In addition to staying power, Elizabeth Arden’s Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick doesn’t dry out lips, it does what it’s name implies; it keeps lips moisturized. Love that too! I definitely need to add a few colors from this collection to my fall beauty bag.

Shop my waist-up look online; perfect for video conference calls!

Don’t forget to vote! I don’t care if you vote red or blue, just vote! Americans have fought hard for the right to vote, so please, exercise your right as an American citizen and vote. Not everyone has the privilege to vote, so don’t take it for granted. Just vote.

Thanks for stopping by!

Elemis Superfood Glow

I have been blowing through my skin care products this summer; so when Elemis sent me their Superfood Glow cleanser and primer, I was thrilled! Summer is a heavy skin care season due to all the outside activities, sun, water activities, and wind! If you are like me, you are outside more during the summer months, than any other season, exposing your skin to the elements. This means we all need extra skin care, and extra protection!

I am in love with the Elemis Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter. It not only purifies and removes makeup and daily pollutants, it has a slight pumpkin scent! Love a pumpkin scent during the late summer months as we start to transition to a fall schedule with school starting; and we start eyeing fall merchandise for our wardrobes! One more cool thing about the Elemis Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter, if you leave it on for ten minutes, it doubles as a mask! Love that! It’s a cleanser and mask in one jar!!

Are you wearing makeup this summer? Yeah, me neither. I only put on makeup about once a week. That’s why I am thankful for this Elemis Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser. You can wear it alone, without makeup, or use it as a primer for makeup. It adds just the right amount of luminosity. Love!

I hope you love this skin care collection by Elemis as much as I do!
