Dolce & Gabbana “The One Desire” is the newest eau de parfum from the designing duo’s “The One” fragrance collection. “Desire” is a complex fragrance which offers a warm, woody-floral fragrance experience perfect for evening occasions and varying weather.

As a long-time fan of Dolce & Gabbana “The One” EDP, I was excited to test out Dolce & Gabbana’s newest fragrance creation; “Desire.” When I first sprayed on “Desire” I instantly detected a floral bouquet with a smooth, musky base. As the day wore on, the florals settled nicely on my skin and offered a smooth, woody-floral scent which lasted about twenty-four hours. That is an amazing amount of time for a fragrance to last!

Dolce & Gabbana “The One Desire” EDP is complex and appropriate for dressy attire and evening occasions in any season. The smooth musk underneath the florals allows “Desire” to be worn in the spring and summer while the slightly gourmand, woody base offers a little warmth for the cool weather in the fall and winter months. Love this!

Top notes: mandarin, lychee, bergamot, lily of the valley

Middle notes: Madonna lily, Indian tuberose, velvety jasmine, sweet plum nectar

Base notes: vanilla, infused caramel, sandalwood, mysterious musk, Cistus Labdanum

I am looking forward to wearing Dolce & Gabbana “The One Desire” EDP a lot over the course of the year and will definitely keep the fragrance as one of my go-to, signature scents moving into 2014.

One of the biggest trends in nail polish for the summer 2013 season, and moving into the fall 2013 season, is the nude nail. Laura Mercier’s new summer 2013 nail polish hue, “Bare Rose,” fits perfectly into the nude nail trend this season while offering a splash of sweet color.

The nude nail look this season is a bare hue with a slight splash of color. Instead of traditional beige, summer 2013 is bringing us nude nail polish hues which offer pink or coffee colors infused into the polish. “Bare Rose” by Laura Mercier is the perfect pinkish-nude hue for the summer of 2013 as it offers the on-trend color as well as high quality saturation.

I tested out Laura Mercier’s “Bare Rose” nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. The polish went on smooth without streaking; a huge feat when it comes to pale polishes! As with all of Laura Mercier’s nail polishes, “Bare Rose” is long-lasting and does not chip easily. The polish lasted a full week without chipping. Love that!

Dolce & Gabbana “The One For Men Sport” is one of the most sought-after men’s fragrances on the market. This smooth, woody scent provides a medium strength fragrance experience for men which women enjoy too! 

The overall fragrance experience from Dolce & Gabbana’s “The One For Men Sport” after shave offers a warm, woody scent which works well in both warm and cool weather. Dolce & Gabbana “The One For Men Sport” after shave offers fragrance notes of water, rosemary, cardamom, Sequoia forest accord, patchouli and musk. Love!

Rob tested out Dolce & Gabbana “The One For Men Sport” after shave and found the lotion to be soothing after shaving with an electric razor. The scent lasted all day and Rob did not feel he needed to add cologne for more fragrance.
