Chanel’s summer 2014 nail polish colors are here! The colors are bright, playful, and perfect for the upcoming fun-filled summer months. Pink Tonic by Chanel is a bright, neon fuchsia hue which will definitely attract attention this summer 2014 season. The bright, neon color of Pink Tonic blends well with the seasons’ neon color palette, plays well with neutrals, and adds a little kick to pastel shades of pink, purple, green and blue.

Every year Chanel dictates the “IT” color in nail polish, and summer 2014 is no different. For summer 2014 we are looking at a mix of pastel hues, white, and neon brights for nail polish. Chanel Pink Tonic is a great nail polish color for the summer 2014 season since it is a bright pink hue which is easy to wear.

Although not a neutral color, Pink Tonic by Chanel plays well with the majority of colors in the summer 2014 color palette. This will make Chanel Pink Tonic nail polish easy to wear this summer, and perfect for the hot weather season. Love that!

I tested out Chanel Pink Tonic nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color; no top coat. Chanel pink Tonic nail polish lasted five days before chipping and seven days before needing to be redone. The color is smooth and shiny; no matte or sparkles. You could try a matte top coat with Chanel Pink Tonic nail polish, although, I personally love the high shine of the nail polish and would not want to dull it with a matte top coat.

Laura Mercier high coverage eye concealer review

Laura Mercier’s new high coverage concealer for under eye is here! This amazing eye concealer is packaged in a small tube with a long point where the concealer comes out in mini drops. These small drops of concealer are easy to apply with dots under the eyes where coverage is needed. After applying the concealer in dots under the eye, Laura Mercier’s new high coverage eye concealer can easily be smoothed into skin creating a clean canvas on the face  and hiding everything which needs to be hidden under the eye! Bye bye dark circles!

I have found it difficult to find a good eye concealer over the years since the color always seems to be slightly off from the color of my foundation making the portion under my eyes too white. Laura Mercier’s new high coverage concealer blends perfectly with my foundation and smooths into skin without leaving a trace. This allows Laura Mercier’s high coverage concealer to properly hide imperfections under the eye without being detected. Perfection!

There is a famous, luxurious spa treatment which can be enjoyed right here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The facial is called a “Gold Facial.” Gold has been used in skin care for centuries in order to help skin look younger, stimulate collagen and renew cells. Its’ use dates back to Ancient China. 

On April 3, 2014 International Supermodel Bar Refaeli treated herself to a gold facial and Instagrammed the moment to her followers. A media frenzy followed the moment and speculations ran crazy about the possible cost of a gold facial; some suggesting the treatment cost over $1000! The reality is that Bar Refaeli’s gold facial cost less than $200; making it an affordable spa treatment for anyone seeking a little luxury, and younger looking skin!

I did indulge in the comfort of my own home. As a busy Mother of three, finding time for a facial is next to impossible! Thankfully I was able to try two gold products from Bella Schneider at home. And yes, they are fabulous and indulgent!

I tested out Bella Schneider Beauty Culmine Caviar & Carat “Exfoliating Gommage” and Bella Schneider Beauty Culmine Caviar & Carat “All-Day Cream.” 

The “Exfoliating Gommage” by Bella Schneider Beauty Culmine Caviar & Carat was an incredible way to cleanse my face. Everything from the scent to the texture to the silky feel of the product was luxurious. The “Exfoliating Gommage” did am amazing job cleaning my skin. It took away any dry spots on my face left from the sun and cleansed my pores. I found that it does such a good job I only need to use it one day per week. 

I also tested out the “All-Day Creme” from Bella Schneider Beauty Culmine Caviar & Carat and it too offered a silky texture and luxurious scent. It left my skin even and perfectly moisturized throughout the day. I am thrilled! 

Since these products are so amazing at home, I can only imagine how fabulous the actual facial at the spa must be! This summer when school is over, and my schedule is less hectic, I plan to take a day and indulge in a gold facial from LaBelle Day Spas & Salons. 

I rate Bella Schneider Beauty Culmine Caviar & Carat products five out of five stars!!!
