Tom Ford’s line of nail polishes are high quality, long lasting, and offer fresh colors not seen from other nail polish brands. Since I first fell in love with Tom Ford’s “Black Jade” for spring 2015, I was eager to test out another one of Tom Ford’s fabulous nail polish hues. I found “Dominatrix” in his line-up and instantly fell in love with the shimmering purple hue in the bottle; a must try!

Dominatrix by Tom Ford is a beautiful, medium hued purple nail polish with fabulous sparkles. The nail polish shimmers; picking up light both from the sun, and indoor lighting. Love that!

I tested out Tom Ford’s Dominatrix nail polish with two coats of color, one base coat, and no top coat. Tom Ford’s nail polish is long lasting, and did not chip, for seven days! Talk about fabulous 😉

Dominatrix is the perfect purple for both the summer season, and the upcoming fall season. The color blends perfectly with summer’s “shades of blue” trend and also works as a classic purple for the autumn season. Love that!

I have fallen in love with Tom Ford’s nail polish, and look forward to trying out more colors from his nail polish portfolio in the future. To shop Tom Ford’s Dominatrix, please click here or here.

The new IT bag for 2015 is the Chloe Faye. I know, I know, we all thought it was the Chloe Drew, no wait, the Hermes Kelly, no wait again, the Saint Laurent Sac Du Jour, um no, it was Chanel’s Boy bag, wait no, it was Mansur Gavriel’s drawstring bag, no no no, it was the Givenchy Antigona! Ugh! How to keep up? Well, all of the above are correct.

There is more than one IT bag in town for 2015; so carry your Chanel Boy bag, or your Hermes Kelly, or your Givenchy Antigona, or your Chloe Drew, etc., with your head held high, and your pulse at a normal beat. There are many, many “IT” handbags to choose from in 2015. Although, the newest IT handbag to land on store shelves is the Chloe Faye.

The Chloe Faye is taking the “IT” bag world by storm in both the small size, and medium size. While the small size is selling out faster than a New York minute, the medium is equally as hot. The Chloe Faye has everything an IT bag needs in 2015. It comes in many shades of neutral, is has a simple, yet unique style, and it evokes a certain sense of classic meets 1970’s chic. It is very on trend; while still offering that vintage, timeless quality everyone seeks in the handbag-of-the-moment.

Chloe’s Faye offers classic flap shoulder bag style with a long strap. The strap can be worn cross body or over the shoulder; giving it a modern twist. Chloe is using soft leather, suede, and exotic skins, to create various versions of the Faye for spring/summer 2015, as well as the upcoming fall 2015 season. The Faye has an edgy, yet sophisticated chain which extends from the loop on the flap closure to one side of the bag, where it meets the shoulder strap. This gives the bag an unique look which sets it apart from other classic, flap style shoulder bags. It might be the touch which launched the Chloe Faye into “IT” bag territory.

As we move towards fall 2015, the 1970’s will be the most important decade of influence on fashion. Our skinny jeans will turn flare, our espadrilles will turn into platform sandals, and our drawstring handbags will become shoulder bags with a classic flap closure. The Chloe Faye will fit perfectly into the trends of the fall season.

Stay tuned as this retro handbag style becomes difficult to find. If you love it, and you want it, pre-order yours for fall now. I pre-ordered a grey one; they are going fast!

Happy shopping, carry an IT bag, and stay fabulous 😉
