It’s here! The Chanel spring 2017 beauty collection has arrived. With it, we have two beautiful new Rouge Coco Shine hydrating sheer lipstick colors! Love! Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Noir Moderne and Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Beige Dore are the two new IT lipstick colors for spring 2017!

Although I wear lipsticks from a few different brands, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine is my all-time favorite lipstick. I love the sheer nature of the lipstick; plus, it always hydrates my lips. It is comfortable, never smears, applies evenly, never cakes, and wears off evenly. That is perfection.

For spring 2017, we are seeing beige hues, and deep, dark, autumn-like hues. The new lipstick colors from Chanel for spring 2017 reflect this trend in makeup. Beige Dore is a golden beige hue which is easy to wear daily, and to work. Noir Moderne is an avant-garde, dark purple, which if it wasn’t sheer, would be as vampy as it gets! Noir Moderne is perfect to wear at night, and if you are the daring type, wear it during daylight hours too! Why not?!

My darling little ten-year-old daughter took these photos of me, so I apologize in advance for my expressions. She was making faces while snapping the pictures, which in turn, made me laugh. This is the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Beige Dore lipstick. I love this color for everyday wear. It is a golden beige color which blends well with any color palette. It will be easy to wear with all of the spring colors hitting store shelves! Beige Dore by Chanel will be my go-to lip color this spring 2017 season. Love!

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Noir Moderne lipstick is a vampy, deep, dark purple hue which is easy to wear since it is sheer. For me, this will be my nighttime lipstick this spring 2017. It will also work well at fashion week in New York. If you like to take chances with your daytime makeup, Noir Moderne lipstick will be a fun lip color to wear during the day this spring 2017 season. I love this color!

This is a comfortable yet chic outfit which is perfect for any New Years Eve house party. It also works well for any semi-formal New Years Eve party. I originally wore this outfit to the Junior League of San Jose Sustainer holiday party. It was perfect! The skirt is a sparkling green and gold, glitter fabric. I apologize that you cannot see the glitter in this photo. It’s an iPhone photo taken at night.

We are going to let the kids stay up late to watch the ball drop, and have a small, festive gathering at our home. Dior’s Diorific Splendor nail polish is a sparkling, beautiful red nail color from the Dior 2016 holiday beauty collection. This sparkling red hue has proven to be popular as the limited edition color has sold out of most retailers. Thankfully, you can still find it in stock online here.

Red is a classic, holiday nail polish color which most nail polish fans come to expect to see every holiday season. Although Splendor by Dior is a red nail polish introduced for the holidays, there isn’t’ anything cliche about this hue. It is sparkling, vivid, and unique. Love!

I tested out Diorific Splendor nail polish with one base coat, and two coats of color. I did not use a top coat. The nail polish lasted a full week before I needed to remove it due to nail growth. I love the pretty red hue of this polish, and the festive vibe the understated sparkles emit. That is the key word here, “understated.”

The sparkles in Diorific Splendor are not loud. They are quiet sparkles which add just enough of a party to the polish, without overwhelming the pretty red hue of the polish. Love that! So when I say understated, I mean perfect. 😉
