Happy winter! Now that Christmas is over, we can all think about shopping for ourselves again; not that some of us didn’t already do that between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes, I am guilty!

I wanted to let you know about Daniel Wellington watches, and how fabulous they are as a gift to ourselves! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed a few posts by me, of this fabulous classic black Daniel Wellington watch. It is a great gift to give to someone, but even better gift to give to ourselves!

The watch has a chic silhouette, and the watch face is easy to read. I love the rose gold paired with black my watch. Rose gold is the “IT” metallic hue right now, yet it is still classic; making this watch both fashionable and timeless. Love that!

As you can see, I have been wearing it quite often. This is my current go-to outfit. The over-sized sweater paired with my Pierce bag is not only cozy, but extremely comfortable. Love that! The Daniel Wellington watch just makes it all the more perfect for daily wear.

I wore my oversize sweater with flare jeans, and my Daniel Wellington watch to meet my friend Laura from Have Need Want for brunch earlier this month. We took a walk on a path which ran along the water in Capitola. It was so quaint and relaxing! You can see the scenery in the photos above, isn’t it pretty!

Essie Getting Groovy is part of Essie’s winter nail polish collection. This beautiful, sparkling gold color is ideal for  brightening up a dreary winter day, or for celebrating during the holiday season. Love it!

The golden hue of Getting Groovy by Essie is a festive, sparkling hue. The polish itself is foil-like; it doesn’t streak at all, which is a huge plus! It applies evenly, with proper saturation in two coats. I tested out Essie Getting Groovy nail polish with one base coat, and two coats of color; no top coat. It lasted a full week before my nails grew and I needed to change it. This is a great nail polish!

Metallic nail polishes are a huge trend right now, and well into 2017. This makes Getting Groovy by Essie a fabulous nail polish to invest in. The golden hue acts like a neutral, making it easy to wear with any color palette. Since it is a sparkling polish, it is also perfect for celebrating the holidays, and ringing in the new year! Love!
