How fun is this floral and lace pleated skirt! I love the pattern mixing encompassed in this skirt. It is perfect to wear on not-too-cold winter days, as well as for transitioning from winter into spring.

I have been wearing this skirt with either the sweater pictured above, or a black turtleneck sweater during the cold winter days. It also looks cute with black knee boots and a black turtleneck sweater. There are so many options when it comes to this fun skirt!

This will continue to be a great skirt to wear in the early spring months. I can’t wait to pair it with a tee-shirt and sandals. Love!

Wondering how to wear a sequin jacket during the day for a casual event? Or maybe you have a casual party on New Years Eve and are wondering how to style a sequin jacket for New Years Eve? Well I struggled with these questions too!

I have an all-black outfit I planned to wear with this sequin jacket from Tart Collections. When the jacket arrived, I quickly went to my closet to try the outfit on together, only to find my weight gain sized me out of my black outfit! The shame! So then I decided I had to find a way to style this sequin jacket for my upcoming holiday parties. Plus, I needed a casual New Years Eve outfit idea, so this sequin jacket would be perfect!

Pairing this Tart Collections sequin jacket with loose, distressed, straight-leg jeans worked out perfectly! I love the edgy-glam look for a casual New Years Eve party, or any daytime activity. This is a great girl’s brunch outfit idea too! For New Years Eve, I plan to wear this exact outfit but I will switch out the daytime handbag for this cute little number by Valentino. Cozy camel coat

A camel coat is so classic and chic. I am not sure why I have never owned a camel coat in all my years on Earth! When I spotted this faux shearling, camel coat, I instantly knew it had to be my first. I love the details, the soft came hue, the faux fur (we only do faux here in the Bay Area), and the cozy nature of the piece.

There was something of a 1970s vibe to this coat when I first tried it on, so I decided to wear this camel coat with boot cut jeans and my prized Chloe Hudson. It needed an overall, ’70’s inspired look, so I jumped in!

The camel coat has turned out to be soft and cozy; I love wearing it! It is comfortable, cozy, and I feel like it makes me appear slightly taller! Sadly, I am always seeking outfits which lengthen my short frame. I want to be tall, tall, taller!

My cute little ten-year-old daughter took these photos while we were Christmas shopping at Santana Row. I think she did a good job! She was rewarded with a yummy brunch at Left Bank; our favorite brunch place on the Row!

After brunch, the two of us walked around Santana Row admiring the decorations, and taking in the holiday cheer. If you are local to the Bay Area, and have not been to Santana Row since they decorated, you must go! The entire place is filled with holiday cheer; it is so beautiful! I love everything from the giant wreaths, to the large red bows on the lampposts, to the beautiful, larger-than-life trees. It is a must-see!
