Summer is fast approaching! This means we are all lightening up fabrics and brightening up our color palettes. I love this bright pink tee for summer. It looks fabulous with shorts, denim skirts, and jeans on cooler days. I also love that it is on sale!

Oh my goodness, how beautiful is this winery? We had our Girl Scout service unit’s end-of-year awards dinner at this location last week, and it was the prettiest awards dinner we have ever had! The event was held at The Ranch Almaden which is a small winery, home and event venue in the Almaden area of San Jose. It was a stunning location, and the weather was perfect. I understand the venue is available on AirBNB in case you’re interested!
Since it was a casual event at a winery, I decided to wear this black cotton dress with my good sneakers and green handbag. While this bag may be known for being “Bottega Green,” it can also double as “Girl Scout Green.” Love that! So, that’s why I wore it!
If this dress seems familiar, you’re right! I also have it in blue. I couldn’t help myself. This dress is priced well under $50 and comes in tons of colors. Since I loved the blue one so much, I purchased one in black too. Black is such a good color to have on hand.
My foot is still iffy, so sneakers with good arch support are a must for me these days. Thankfully I won a draw on the SNKR’s app and was able to snap up these black and white Nike Dunk Lo’s. I consider these my good sneakers, since they are hard to get, and I am keeping them very clean! I love how they look with the black dress. The outfit showed off my green bag.
The event was really fun. My daughter was recognized for earning her Gold Award, and we were able to see all the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award projects in our service unit. It is so inspiring to see all the amazing community service our local girl scouts are doing. The next generation is truly amazing!
