Estee Lauder skin care is something I grew up with. As a small child, I have fond memories of my Mother bringing me to the Estee Lauder counter to purchase cosmetics and skin care. It was always her favorite beauty brand; and decades later, it still is! When I opened the box containing the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair collection, she gasped and asked if she could have it. Sorry Mom, this collection is for me!

I am an extremely busy Mother of three energetic, and involved children. My kids play music, sports and are active in scouting. In addition to managing my children’s schedules and activities, I have my own work and activities to manage. It can be a bit much. The activities and overall stress I face each day take a huge toll on my skin. We really do wear our stress on our faces. When Estee Lauder sent me their fabulous Advanced Night Repair skin care system, I was extremely thrilled. This is exactly what my stressed-out face needs!

There are several amazing products in the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair skin care collection. Each product works in it’s own special way to cleanse, and repair skin while we sleep. The Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam is ideal to use on a nightly basis to wash off makeup, and all the pollution, and dirt our skin captures during the day. I love how soft and clean my skin is after using it.

The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro-Cleansing Balm is also a fabulous way to clean skin at night. I have been using it when I wear foundation, or feel like I need a little extra cleansing that night. Both cleansers are perfect for everyday use, the difference I noticed was in the consistency. I tend to prefer a foam cleanser, which is why I have found myself reaching for the foam nightly, but if you prefer a silkier consistency in your cleanser, then the balm will be your go-to nighttime cleanser from the collection.

After cleaning my skin, I have been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair eye and the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II on my skin nightly. These two products have really made a difference in brightening up my skin and overall complexion. Love!

When it comes to masks, I don’t have a lot of time, so I have used the masks once every other week. They do a fabulous job of refining my skin and smoothing it out.  I have been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intense Recovery Ampoules twice per week, and have enjoyed excellent results.

I have been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair skin care system for one month now, and I have noticed a huge difference in my overall skin tone. My skin is cleaner, more clear, softer, and fresher. The stress I feel is no longer showing in my skin. Love that!

Londontown Lakur Brighton Rock spring 2017 nail polish collection review

I am always on the hunt for fabulous nail polish. I love new, exciting colors, as well as new brands to try. When Londontown approached me to test out their 9-free nail polish, I was thrilled! 9-free?? I had no idea that even existed!

If you are wondering what “9-free” even means, it is an abbreviation for saying a nail polish formula is free from nine known harmful chemicals which are commonly found in nail polish. It has become common to hear about 5-free polish, but 9-free is new, unexplored territory! Love that!

In addition to being 9-free, Londontown Lakur is florium infused, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and vegan! How fabulous is that! To sweeten the pot, how fabulous are the four colors from Londontown “Brighton Rock,” the new spring/summer 2017 nail polish collection! Love!

Londontown Brighton Rock is the new spring/summer 2017 nail polish collection from Londontown. There are four, pretty shades in the collection; Peach Pop, which is a pale, peachy white hue, Dolly Mix, which is a pale lavender, Candy Floss, which is a sparkling pale pink, and Fruit Tella which is a bold and bright fuchsia.

This is Peach Pop. It is a really pretty and pale peach hue. When applied, it appears to be a few shades away from white. This is a fabulous color for both the spring and summer seasons. It acts like a pastel for spring, yet acts like an almost-white polish which is ideal against tan skin in the summer months. I used two coats of color with one base coat for my Peach Pop mani. It initially turned out a little bit streaky, and needed a few touch-ups on about half my nails.  I would recommend two normal coats of color, and one light third coat. Love!

Dolly Mix is a beautiful, pale lavender color which is ideal for the spring 2017 season. With so many shades of blue and pink in style for spring, lavender polish plays well with the current color palette and adds a nice compliment to spring’s shades of blue and pink. This is a beautiful hue. One base coat, and two coats of color created the perfect mani. Love it too!

For the feminine and romantic, Candy Floss is your go-to nail polish for spring/summer 2017. This is a sweet, sparkling pink which has a grown-up feel to it. It really is the perfect pink. I used one base coat, and two coats of color. Love!

Londontown Lakur Fruit Tella nail polish spring 2017

If you are feeling va-va-voom; or just want to brighten your day, Fruit Tella is the color for you! This is a fabulous color for the upcoming summer season. It is bright, bold, sassy, and downright fun! I would love to wear Fruit Tella on a tropical beach vacation, or any day I would want to feel like I am on a summer vacation. This was an easy polish to apply and it went on perfectly even. I used one base coat, and two coats of color. It is very shiny, which adds to it’s perfection. Love!

All in all, Londontown’s Brighton Rock collection for spring/summer 2017 offers great colors for the season, high shine, and the peace of mind knowing all the polishes are 9-free, florium infused, cruelty-free, gluten free, and vegan! Love!

Nail polish for spring 2017 is quite different than in previous spring seasons. We are seeing a large number of grey nail polishes, pale pinks, whites, and neons for the warm weather season. While there are many shades of grey out there in the nail polish marketplace, none quite compare to the medium-dark grey hue created by YSL for the spring 2017 season.

YSL Asphalt Grey nail polish is in the perfect place on the grey color wheel. It is not too dark, nor is it too light. It is just right.

This is the first time I have purchased nail polish by YSL. I have used a few of their cosmetics before, but never before have I tried Yves Saint Laurent nail colour. The nail polish went on smoothly, and the brush was a good, manageable size to work with. With two coats, YSL nail polish not streaky; and left a solid, smooth color on my nails. Love!

I tested out YSL Asphalt Grey nail polish for spring 2017 with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. The polish last six days before chipping. This is a decent length of time considering I was not wearing a top coat.

YSL Grey Asphalt is a great nail colour for the spring 2017 season. It is a neutral hue; making it easy to wear with any of the seasons color palettes, plus, there is something fresh about the color grey. I know, grey? fresh? Yup. It feels fresh and right this season. Who knew?
