Created by beauty experts with over seventeen years of experience in the industry, ShadeM Beauty was created with a love for make-up. The founders have mixed-ethnicities, and knew there was a void in the industry with so few beauty brands representing all ethnicities and skin tones; as well as being represented through visual identity and stories.

Liquid Lipstick is perfect for days and occasions when you want your lip color to stay put; without drying out your skin. What I love about ShadeM Beauty is that their liquid lipstick does exactly that; it stays put, offers vibrant color, and doesn’t dry out the lips. Love!

There is a shade for everyone at ShadeM Beauty. Whatever your skin tone, there are many colors which will work with your coloring. Their color offerings also work with any type of personal style. If your style is California Casual like me, there are toned down hues you will love (like me!), and if you enjoy pushing the style envelope, there are bold hues for you too! I love a brand which offers something for everyone.

My skin tone is medium, and my personal style is on the conservative and casual side. I consider my personal style to be California Casual with a touch of glam. For my medium skin tone, 100% of my ancestors came from Italy, so while my skin isn’t as olive as my Mother’s, it still has a Mediterranean tone. My two favorite hues from ShadeM Beauty are Vivid 8 and Desrose 10. Vivid is a fun pink for going out and Desrose is perfect for all my Zoom calls, and my future in-person businesses events.

Speaking of video conference meetings and calls, ShadeM Beauty offers vivid hues which look great on-screen. If you take a lot of video calls, or enjoy filming videos, these liquid lipsticks look amazing on camera as well as in person.

How cute is this Mansur Gavriel mini Cloud clutch! As you know, pouch clutches are a hot IT bag style, and Mansur Gavriel’s is one of the two hottest pouches out there. I have owned the regular size Cloud clutch in black for a little over one year, and I love it. So when Mansur Gavriel introduced the mini version last year, I was eyeing it right away. Now, I have finally broken down and purchased one for myself!

As much as I love my regular sized Cloud clutch, sometimes I want to carry something a little bit smaller; and with a strap. The Mansur Gavriel mini Cloud clutch is just the right size to carry my purse essentials. It also has a thin strap which can be worn cross body, or over the shoulder. I prefer it over the shoulder as it hits me on the bottom of my ribs if I wear it cross body; that being said, if you need to wear it cross body, it can be done.

The Mansur Gavriel mini Cloud clutch comes in a variety of beautiful colors. I chose Spiga, which is a soft, yet medium, yellow hue. Spiga, or yellow, is very pretty; and it also happens to be the color of the year! Love that!

The Mansur Gavriel mini Cloud clutch is quite roomy inside. I can fit my wallet, phone, lipstick, keys, and also place my sunglasses on top. The bag still closes without an issue, despite all of those items. The closure on the mini Cloud clutch is a frame closure with a magnetic reinforcement in the center of the frame. It’s very sturdy and secure. I definitely feel safe from pickpockets with this bag! It will make a fabulous bag for travel once the pandemic is over. Love it!

Since there are two Cloud clutches by Mansur Gavriel, I thought it only right to show you a side-by-side comparison of the two so you can see what is going on size-wise. The original Cloud clutch is much larger than the mini. It offers the interior capacity of a medium shoulder bag, while the mini offers the interior capacity of a small, cross body bag.

If you love the smaller size, and would still like to wear it as a clutch rather than a shoulder bag or cross body bag, you can! The strap easily tucks inside the bag or can be removed completely. Although, I recommend tucking it in rather than removing it; you never know when you will want the versatility of switching to a shoulder bag or cross body bag.

All in all, this is a fabulous handbag. The leather is buttery soft, and the construction is extremely sturdy; just like all bags by Mansur Gavriel. It is available in a variety of seasonal hues, as well as classic neutrals. I’m in love with this bag! I also love that it is priced under $500. Love that!

Do you love warm, woody florals? I do! I was so excited when I learned Lancome had released a new woody floral. This beautiful fragrance, Lancome Idole L’Intense edp, is a warm, woody floral with a smooth base. It has a classic vibe, and seasonless scent. Love that!

I am excited about Lancome Idole L’Intense edp since it is a woody floral we can all wear now, during the cold winter months. It’s a warm fragrance, which is ideal on a cool day. Due to the jasmine and rose top notes, this woody floral is a versatile fragrance which will enable it to also be worn during moderate and warm temperatures. I would wear it up to about 85 degrees. After 85 degrees, I prefer to move into nautical, and fruity scents which only work on hot days. Love!

Top notes: Sensual Isparta Rose, Fresh Jasmine

Middle notes: Warm Musks

Base notes: Cedar, Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla

After about one minute, Lancome Idole L’Intense edp settles into a warm, musky floral with a slight vanilla and wood scent. As the day progresses, it cycles through a warm, musky fragrance experience which is smooth and rich. I love the lingering cedar and vanilla laced into the musk at the end of the day. The edp formula is long lasting, so it will not need to be reapplied during the day. You can spray it on at 7am and still enjoy it at 10pm.

If you love a good woody floral, this is your new scent! It will also make a fabulous gift. Lancome offers several gift box choices which are perfect for any holiday during the year. I highly recommend trying this scent. I rate it five out of five stars! Love!
