Chanel always introduces a fabulous red nail polish for the holiday season. For the holiday 2014 season, Chanel has given us Phenix, which is a fabulous cherry red nail polish hue.

Chanel Phenix nail polish is a classic cherry red. The color is vibrant and sweet, making it easy to wear on a daily basis. For the red nail polish aficionado, this is a must-have for collection. Chanel Phenix nail polish is the perfect, classic cherry red for wearing not only on a daily basis, but during any season of the year. Love that!

I tested out Chanel Phenix nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. The nail polish lasted six days before chipping.

Chanel Phenix nail polish will be easy to wear during the holiday season and into the upcoming resort and spring seasons. The cherry red hue is light enough to work well with resort’s vibrant color palette and spring’s pastel hues. In addition, Chanel Phenix blends well with shades of blue; an important color family as we head into 2015.

Chanel Phenix nail polish, and the entire holiday 2014 beauty collection from Chanel, can be found online here and here.

Chanel Tapage nail polish is one of two nail polish colors from Chanel for the spring 2014 season. This bright, dark coral color offers a red hue with pink undertones. Tapage by Chanel is the ultimate color for a Fashionista who is seeking a classic yet fashion-forward nail polish color for the upcoming spring 2014 season.

The spring 2014 season is all about rainbow colors; especially shades of pink, purple, blue and green! In addition to vivid hues, pastels are hot for spring and many designers are still holding onto neon hues for the upcoming warm weather season. This makes Chanel Tapage nail polish a great color for spring. The light-hearted, reddish-coral hue blends well with spring 2014’s color palette allowing you to change your color story from bright hues to pastels to neon shades without worrying about your nail polish color clashing with your apparel. Love that!

I tested Chanel Tapage out with two coats of color and one base coat; no top coat. The polish last six days before chipping. Chanel Tapage is a cream nail polish with a high shine which gives it a little bit more dimension than your average cream nail polish.

Chanel Tapage nail polish for spring 2014 is priced at $27 and can be found online here.

Chanel Rouge Rubis Holiday 2013 nail polish review

Rouge Rubis 677_1

Photo: Chanel “Rouge Rubis” nail polish for Holiday 2013. One base coat, two coats color.

The holiday 2013 season is almost here! That means Chanel has already given us a holiday red nail polish for the festive season. This year, Chanel has created “Rouge Rubis” nail polish. Chanel “Rouge Rubis” nail polish is a bright, cherry red which works perfectly with winter 2014’s candy colored trend. The red hue from Chanel “Rouge Rubis” is reminiscent of a Maraschino Cherry, as well as a sweet, candied cherry pie. It is not a red for the faint of heart; “Rouge Rubis” is bright and fun!

Chanel “Rouge Rubis” nail polish has the perfect balance between a blue based red and an orange based red. “Rouge Rubis” plays well with both sides of the color spectrum making it an easy color to wear on a daily basis. I tested Chanel “Rouge Rubis” with one base coat and two coats of color; no top coat. The polish wore off the edges of the top of my nails within two days, but after the initial rub off on the edges, “Rouge Rubis” did not chip or flake for seven days. Love that!

“Rouge Rubis” by Chanel is a great cherry pie red for the holiday 2013 season, as well as for the nail polish guru who loves red! Chanel “Rouge Rubis” nail polish is a fun red; much less serious than the red nail polish hues Chanel has produced over the past few holiday seasons. I love the playful nature of a cherry red and the fact that it does not chip easily is a huge bonus!

Chanel “Rouge Rubis” nail polish is priced at $27 and can be found online here.
