Summer lunch and a new restaurant

wearing: sunglasses / statement earrings / black tee / summer nail polish / wide leg jeans (petite) / caramel top handle bag / black boots (old, also love this pair) /

It is always fun to meet up with my friend Dawn from Fashion Should be Fun. We met for lunch and decided to check out a new restaurant at Valley Fair for named Stick & Wok. It was really yummy!

It was the soft opening for Stick & Wok so they weren’t crowded because no one knows they are there yet! I hope by now, everyone knows they are there and will stop in for some yummy food! We really enjoyed the Sweet Corn and Chicken Soup, Vegan Mushroom Fried Rice with Truffle Oil, and the Pork and Scallion Pot Stickers. I highly recommend!

Stick & Wok is located on the second floor near the men’s Macy’s and next door to Ramen Nagi. The decor is modern and features cool posters of food. It’s clever and comfortable. Love that!

It was so much fun to enjoy a meal and talk with Dawn. I look forward to seeing her again and also visiting Stick & Wok again! So, if you are local, be sure to pop into Valley Fair and enjoy a meal at Stick & Wok. Love!

Thanks for stopping by!

Little black dress and a pop of green

wearing: statement earrings / black dress / golden necklace / green handbag / blue nail polish / black flats /

There is always an occasion for a little black dress. I love this little black dress since is machine washable and priced well under $100. I wore this outfit recently to Broadway San Jose and it was perfect for the evening.

When it comes to wearing black, it’s fun to add a pop of color through a handbag, jewelry or footwear. For me, I’m all about the handbag! I’m always looking for an excuse to wear my little green handbag!

Also, I would like to give these black flats a shoutout. They have arch support, so I can easily walk and stand in them despite my plantar fasciitis. Love that!

Hersheypark on a summer day

wearing: sunglasses / hoop earrings / blue tee / east/west bag / denim shorts (old, also love this pair) / blue nail polish / sneakers /

Who doesn’t love Hersheypark?! We spent a fun summer day at Hersheypark where my adventurous kids rode several roller coasters and I, the aging adult, stuck to the tamer rides. haha

The weather was quite warm, so in the middle of the day we took a break and enjoyed some dipping dots. Cookies and cream is my favorite. Yum!

At the end of the day, it was time to slow down and enjoy a chocolate themed dinner at The Chocolatier. This was my second time eating there, so I made sure to indulge in a Reese’s martini and chicken sandwich complete with chocolate drizzle. My martini was garnished with a mini Reese’s. So good! This place is a chocolate fans dream!

If you order a milkshake, be prepared for a shake the size of dessert for four. They are huge! I apologize for not getting a photo, we had two shakes, and they were a lot of food! Delicious, but a lot of food! Whoa!

So, I have to say, if you visit Pennsylvania, you cannot skip Hershey! There is a museum downtown and Hersheypark is a ton of fun for all ages. Plus, the Hershey company store has chocolates you can’t find elsewhere. We definitely brought some chocolate home with us! Yum!

Thanks for stopping by!
