Scotch & Soda is a new store which has recently opened at my favorite place to shop; Santana Row! The shop offers both men’s and women’s clothing which I like to describe as “cutting-edge casual.” I fell in love with so many pieces while I was shopping in the store for the first time. There was a beautiful leather tee-shirt, a fabulous pair of space print jeans and a cozy burgundy sweater which were calling my name. Although those three pieces remain on my wish list, I did purchase this casual top featured in the photos above. I love the sparkling green stripes and the soft fabric. If you are local to the Bay Area, definitely take some time to check out the new Scotch & Soda store at Santana Row. One of my favorite things about October is that designers and brands release fabulous pink products which benefit breast cancer research. These beautiful sunglasses from BCBG encourage “Courage” and sales from the glasses directly benefit the search for a cure. Love that!

Over the weekend we took the kids to a local fundraising carnival. It was really fun to go on the Ferris Wheel and watch the kids go on so many rides and inside of the bouncy house. We were at the carnival for several hours so I was really happy to be wearing a comfortable pair of biker boots.

I love the biker boot trend this fall. Biker boots offer a small heel and an edgy style which spices up a casual outfit; yet allows a certain level of comfort. Love that! These biker boots have definitely been my fall 2013 “go-to” item. What is your “go-to” item(s) this autumn season?
