Piperlime, which happens to be one of my favorite online shops, has launch their own collection this fall 2014 season; the Piperlime Collection. This beautiful collection features on-trend pieces which are wearable and can easily integrate into any Fashionista’s wardrobe. The new Piperlime Collection features both casual and work appropriate pieces which will easily become closet staples. Love that!

I had the honor of viewing the entire Piperlime Collection in person at the RewardStyle party during New York Fashion Week. The collection featured beautiful colors, textures and silhouettes. I was impressed with the quality and affordable prices of the new Piperlime Collection. I definitely saw trends from the runways integrated into the fall 2014 Piperlime Collection, which makes it easy to bring the runways into your own closet.

I love this tee style blouse from the new Piperlime Collection I am wearing in the photos above. I can easily wear this blouse with a pencil skirt for a professional look or dress it down with jeans. I also love how it looks with the pants I am wearing in the photos above. It is incredibly comfortable and will look great when layered with a jacket or sweater later on in the fall season; or even during the winter season.

The Piperlime Collection includes all the hottest trends for the fall 2014 season including florals, lace, knits and moto jackets. The color palette is also right on trend for the fall 2014 season and easy to integrate into any autumn wardrobe. Outfit details:

Feeling tall

I wore this outfit on my last day in New York for fashion week. I am not sure why, but I felt really tall in this outfit. Maybe it was the comfortable yet dreamlike feel of the skirt, or these incredibly comfortable Joie heeled booties. Whatever it was, wherever the vibe came from, I felt much taller than my 5’4″ frame. Love that!

As someone who is on the short side, I always revel in the moment when I feel tall. Feeling tall does not come often, so when it does, I love it! I am quite certain I will wear this outfit a lot this fall season; after all, it makes me feel tall! I am also looking forward to wearing this sweater with jeans on casual days. I would also like to find a long sleeve top to wear with this skirt for cooler days in November and December.

Do you have an outfit or piece of clothing which makes you feel taller?

Express outfit

On day two of New York Fashion Week, the weather was sweltering. It was about ninety degrees, with humidity to match. Of course, what did I pack in my suitcase for the trip? A long sleeved sweater dress. Why you ask? ‘Cause I’m a Rocket Scientist! ( I am so NOT a Rocket Scientist, but I digress.) So, on my first night in New York, I walked, and walked, and walked all the way down to Times Square to find something weather appropriate. Thankfully, there was a two story Express with really cute outfits on display in the window, so I went in!

The clothing I packed for New York was mainly designed to show off my new Marc Jacobs handbag; because I am a little bit obsessed with handbags. 😉 So, with my Rose Pink handbag in mind, I looked around Express and went with a black and white outfit which would show off my handbag. After trying on a few looks and choosing my outfit for day two, I emerged from the dressing rooms. Upon emerging from the dressing rooms, I found myself trapped by a wall of jewelry as I tried to find the checkout stand. I could not help but notice the designer inspired designs Express had on display for really affordable prices. I snatched up the bracelet in the photos above without hesitation and then realized that jewelry was buy one, get one half off. Who can resist that?! For my second piece, I impulse bought the earrings I am wearing in this post. I know I will get a lot of use out of all of these pieces as I break them up into separate outfits at home with the benefit of my full closet. But for day two, I did a fashion no-no; I was head to almost toe in one brand. Oh well, I beat the heat for under $200, so c’est la vie!

Have you ever had to shop for an outfit under pressure? I would love to hear your story!
