Ever since I noticed the 70s were a huge decade of influence for the fall 2015 season, I had my heart set on scoring a fabulous, button down, 70s inspired suede skirt. If you have been following along, you may remember this navy button down skirt, and this brown suede skirt, I also purchased for the season. It is pretty obvious that  any 70s inspired suede skirt is high on my list of things to love!

The navy skirt I purchased has traditional, 70s style buttons down the front. The dark brown suede skirt has pleats, no buttons. So when I spotted this beauty on sale in a cool, pale beige color, I loved how the buttons were there yet hidden. I find the hidden buttons, which are actually large snaps, a fresh take on a 70s inspired suede skirt.

The suede is exceptionally soft on this 70s inspired suede skirt, making it feel ultra luxurious. The lighter color is nice too since it will be easy to wear into the spring season. Suede and the 70s are still hot for spring! This means, this skirt, is a great investment; especially since it is on sale! Love that!

The two necklaces, and the pair of earrings I am wearing in this post are also under $100. They will make great holiday gifts for the girl, or woman, who loves fashion-forward, edgy jewelry! I plan on getting a few of these necklaces for my friends this Christmas 😉 shhh, don’t tell them!

Also, this blouse, which is well under $50, is a great closet staple which can be worn with skirts, trousers, culottes, or jeans! It is really versatile. The sleeves unbutton and can roll down to be traditional long sleeves. That makes it a two-in-one! Love!

What are some of your favorite finds this fall season?

Fall on Instagram

Fall on Instagram has been filled with transitional outfits, sweet treats, a little playtime, and of course-sushi! September until now, has been a mix of soaring, summer-like temperatures, as well as fall-like days dipping into 50-degree territory. I have been reaching for summer favorites, and also pulling from the back of my closet for fall, and winter favorites. This has been an interesting weather season for sure!

laser cut midi skirt

I find myself reaching for this laser cut skirt often. It is one of my favorite fall pieces! You can see it in an outfit post here. On this particular fall day, I wore it with these shoes, this bracelet, this bag, and this tee.

snake and butterfly

One of my favorite places to grab a hot cocoa is Snake & Butterfly in Downtown Campbell. They have a wide array of chocolate, gelato, and more! The decor is pretty fabulous too. I usually stop in with my kids, and relax with a good book. Handbag online here.

mansur gavriel lady bag casual look

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, our fall temperatures can mimic summer. On this casual day, I paired my favorite tee with these comfy boyfriend jeans (old, similar here). These flats (color sold out, other colors here) are incredibly comfortable too. This Mansur Gavriel Lady Bag is a new favorite, and this bracelet is too!

blue angels san francisco

Fall in the Bay Area cannot happen without the Blue Angels! I always watched them when they came into town as a child. I remember them loudly soaring overhead during rehearsals when I worked in the financial district, and I remember watching them through my adulthood. My husband and I are keeping the tradition alive by bringing our kids to the show when they come to the city. I trust they are the most amazingly talented pilots on Earth. Love!
frost cupcakes on halloween

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and you love cupcakes, you MUST go to Frost in Downtown Campbell! They have the best cupcakes on Earth. These are the cupcakes I picked up from Frost for Halloween. My kids were in heaven eating them. Oh yes, I do not exaggerate; best.cupcakes.on.Earth!

workout nike id

In case you didn’t know. I am a bit of workout junkie. I have to be with my sweet tooth! Ha! In this photo, I was on my way to one of my favorite classes; BodyCombat. If you have not tried it, it is a fabulous cardio kickboxing class which targets the whole body. I love it! It also burns 600+ calories, which is key after eating cupcakes 😉 I wore my favorite pair of Nike ID’s (similar here), which you can see styled here, these comfortable workout pants (old, similar here), and I carried this cute little blue bag.
kiku sushi

If you follow my on Instagram, you might be aware of my love for sushi. One of my favorite sushi places in the south bay is Kiku Sushi. They are on the border of Cupertino and Saratoga, tucked behind a gas station, and a small medical building. The food is amazing. If you are local, you must try it!

The weather is finally moving in a winter-like direction, so my Instagram posts should start to get cozier, and more holiday inspired!
