Pictured: c/o L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Mask from left: Purify & Mattify, Exfoliate & Refine, and Detox & Brighten.

I’m so excited to share these fabulous new clay masks from L’Oreal Paris with you!  The new L’Oreal Paris Clay Mask comes in three different formulas; Purify & Mattify, Exfoliate & Refine, and Detox & Brighten. Each one has an active ingredient which makes it unique, and perfect for different skin problems.

All three masks use three pure clays as their base:

  1. Kaolinite: This is a soft mineral present in kaolin clay and it is the ideal ingredient for skincare masks because it is really absorbent. It helps to rid skin of built up; unwanted impurities without stripping away any natural oils. This clay absorbs skin impurities and helps to remove excess shine. Love that! -I can get shiny!
  2. Montmorillonite: This clay is derived from igneous rocks of the smectite family. It is creamy and swells up with it comes into contact with water. It is known for its purifying and re-balancing properties.
  3. Ghassoul: This is a clay of volcanic origin which has been extracted in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. Women in that region use it in face masks and in poultices for their bodies.

Let’s start with my favorite; the Purify & Mattify mask. This is the light grey-green mask pictured above on the left. The secret ingredient is Eucalyptus! My skin creates blackheads, and can get quite shiny. This mask helps to draw out dirt and excess oil; I have a lot of that! After two uses, my pores were clean! It takes a small miracle to remove my blackheads, so I am in deep love with this mask!

I also had a fabulous time testing out the Exfoliate & Refine mask. This red clay mask contains Red Algae as it’s key ingredient. This mask also unclogs pores. It also exfoliates rough texture, which unmasks smooth, unclogged skin. My skin is fairly smooth already, so the difference I noticed after using this mask the first time, were clearer pores. The second time I used it I did feel smoother skin on my face, but the big difference were the cleaner pores, which also seemed minimized.

The Detox & Brighten mask contains charcoal as it’s key ingredient. This mask removes dirt, and impurities. It also removes dead skin cells. The result is healthier, even looking skin. This was the last mask I tested out, so my skin was very clean by the time I tried it. I used it once and my skin felt great! I feel like this is a great mask to keep on hand to use once or twice per month.

Overall, I loved all three masks. The Purify & Mattify clay mask is my favorite mask, and I plan to use it one day a week. I will keep the other two masks on hand to use as needed. The incredible thing about the L’Oreal Pure-Clay mask collection is the fact that they are priced under $13! Whaaaaaaaaat???? Yes, your eyes are working, that is not a typo, they are priced at under $13 each!

You can find the L’Oreal Pure-Clay Mask collection online here, or at your favorite mass food, and drug retailer nationwide starting in July 2016. I would love to hear your results!

All cosmetics c/o L’Oreal. From top: L’Oreal Infallable Mate Lip Gloss / eye brow makeup / mascara / eye shadow /

Sometimes the best beauty products can be found at your local drugstore. I always love finding on trend cosmetics at amazing prices; which also happen to apply nicely, stay on all day, and are nice to my skin!

One of the biggest trends in beauty right now is the  matte lip. We are seeing matte lipsticks, and lip glosses in vivid hues, with pink tones, for the spring 2016 season. The matte lip also happened to be on the fall runways in New York!

I loved how it looked on the runways, which made this beauty trend high on my list of trends to share with you, and to wear right now!

So in February, when I returned home from New York Fashion Week and found an amazing train case full of L’Oreal goodies for spring waiting for me at home, I was thrilled! After all, the perfect matte lip gloss was inside!

L’Oreal Infallable lip gloss goes on smooth, and it is not sticky like so many other lip glosses on the market. I also love all the colors. There are fabulous hues for spring, summer, and next fall! Love!

The brow kit pictured above is also a great way to structure brows. I love the tools inside the compact, they are really to use. I also love how each compact offers two hues, which help design a natural looking brow.

Did you see all the beautiful eye shadow colors? Love! The neutral colors are perfect for everyday wear, and the blue is ideal for a night out on the town; or the next time one of my friends throws an 80’s party. Totally tubular 😉

You can find all these pretty products by L’Oreal at your local drugstore, or online here, and here.

Pamella Roland showed her fall/winter 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week on February 12, 2016 at Pier 59 Studios. I had the opportunity to go backstage before the show and check out the fabulous hairstyles being created by Ted Gibson using L’Oreal Professionnel hair care products. The hairstyles were sleek, sophisticated, and modern. Loved them!

The hairstyles were designed in line with Pamella Roland’s inspiration for her fall 2016 runway collection. In order to achieve this, Ted Gibson, Celebrity Stylist and Owner of Ted Gibson Salon stated: “This season we were inspired by modern architecture and the city of Tokyo. We wanted the models to look as if they had just traveled through Japan.”

I am in love with this timeless yet modern hairstyle; and it looked amazing with Pamella Roland’s fall 2016 collection! I loved being able to see the process from start to finish when I was backstage with L’Oreal Professionnel at Pamella Roland. This is an easy hairstyle to replicate in five easy steps using L’Oreal products.

Here is how you can get the Pamella Roland runway hairstyle at home! All you need to do is buy a fabulous headband, such as this one online here.

STEP 1: Before styling, slip headband on model (or yourself) and let it rest around the neck until use.

STEP 2: Use L’Oreal Professionnel Volume Envy extra mousse to dampen hair and begin to brush hair back into ponytail. Ponytail should sit on the occipital. Use bungee to secure.

STEP 3: Please headband on the head.

STEP 4: Apply L’Oreal Professionnel Volume Envy extra mousse to the tail of the ponytail and wrap hair into a bun. Secure with pins.

STEP 5: Complete style using L’Oreal Professionnel Lumi Controle wax and L’Oreal Professional Infinium 3 hairspray to control and polish hair.
