Happy Holidays! If you have been following along for awhile now, you might be wondering why my capsule wardrobe post is a little bit different this season. As I look back on the past few holiday capsule wardrobes, I realize that they feature pieces from my fall and winter capsule wardrobes, and really only one look for holiday events. I decided my holiday capsule wardrobe should not be a regurgitation of my fall and winter capsules, rather, it should only feature holiday specific pieces. So, a scaled back and more targeted holiday capsule wardrobe is born.

This holiday season, the events I have lined up are on the casual side. This means my high heels and dresses get to continue to collect dust in my closet. Mmmm, slightly disappointed things are so casual this year, yet slightly relieved I can wear comfortable boots to events. haha, so torn!

This sequin shirt is fabulous for casual holiday events. It is warmer than a dress and can easily be worn open as a jacket over a black top, black tank top or black tube top, or alone as its’ own piece. Of course, you can pair it with any color of top, I just prefer black. I plan to pair it with my dark wash wide leg jeans since they seem like the dressiest of my current denim collection. Paired with my comfy golden boots, and I feel festive and ready to stand at an event. Love that!

Blazers, jeans, dark nails, sparkling nails, small handbags, and hobos are hotter than hot right now as we move from the fall season into the holiday season. I am loving what is trending right now!

These classic Chelsea boots are a closet staple. If you did not buy them last year, or the year before, what are you waiting for? They are reasonably priced plus water resistant. The lug sole helps keep you from slipping in snow or ice. Love that! Plus, they are comfy. I really love my pair!

Apparently skinny jeans are over; for now. This season is all about wide leg jeans, classic cuts, and flare jeans. I love this wide leg pair since they are available in multiple lengths. It is pure heaven to be able to find short length jeans and not need to shorten them. Love! Plus, they are under $100. Another reason to love them!

How festive and chic is the Chanel holiday 2022 nail polish collection! Love! This sparkling nail polish collection for the holiday 2022 season offers a classic, dark red nail polish, a shimming golden top coat, and a sparkling metallic dark gold polish with green and black undertones. Love love love!

Red is always a classic nail polish color for the holiday season. Designers are choosing shades of red for the holiday 2022 season which are slightly darker than medium red. It gives the red hue more versatility this time of year as it can be worn during the fall and winter seasons too. Love that!

In addition to red, designers are opting for golden, sparkling top coats. This is a great way to update a red polish you may already have in your collection at home. It is a great way to save money this season! The sparkling gold top coat can go over any shade of red giving it an instant update. It can also work over other cream nail polishes you may have in your collection. If you only get one bottle from this collection, go for Chanel Eclats Ambres top coat!

My favorite hue from the Chanel nail polish holidays 2022 collection is Chanel Clair de Lune. I love metallic polishes and this one is slightly edgy. I love the dark undertones which make it easy to wear now in the fall season, as well as through the holidays and winter season. While I plan to wear red with the top coat for parties and events, my everyday polish will be Chanel Clair de Lune. Love!

Chanel Super Lune nail polish is a classic red which is slightly darker than medium. It offers a beautiful color saturation in a cream polish. I used one base coat, and two coats of color. For this photo, I did not finish with a top coat. I would recommend a top coat to make the nail polish last longer than a week. This will be perfect for parties and the holiday season. The slightly dark hue makes this an easy red to wear during the fall and winter seasons too. Love that!

This is my absolute favorite nail polish hue of the holiday 2022 season. I love a good metallic polish, and Clair de Lune delivers! This beautiful polish offers a slight sparkle as well as an avant-garde shade of dark gold with green and black undertones. I tested it out with one base coat and two coats of color. The polish glides on smooth and has great coverage, no streaking. You can use a top coat with Chanel Clair de Lune to make the polish last longer too.

How fun is this shimming gold top coat! Instead of a clear, classic top coat, this one offers beautiful bits of shimming gold flakes. It glides on top of your manicure in one coat with even coverage. This is also a very strong top coat so it acts exactly like a regular, clear top coat. I love the party vibes it adds to this red polish. I am looking forward to wearing this to events and parties this holiday season. I plan to wear it on Christmas and New Years too! Love it!
