There is so much to do in Hershey, PA! It was so nice to be able to go back over Thanksgiving break and visit the Hershey Antique Auto Museum and also be able to stroll through Hershey Gardens and see all the beautiful Christmas decorations, holiday decorations, gardens, fall foliage, and roses. Despite being cold and wintery outside, the gardens were still beautiful. Love!

Hershey Antique Auto Museum | AACA Museum

We started our day at the Hershey Antique Auto Museum. I was impressed! There is a rotating exhibit near the entryway and the museum is full of automotive history packed onto three floors! There was even a small train section. It was really educational and fun. There were so many automotive brands I had never heard of, and a large number of unique vehicles. There was even a section all about Tucker! Now my dream car is a Tucker. I need to watch the movie. It sounds so amazing!

If you are ever in the Hershey area, I highly recommend visiting the Hershey Antique Auto Museum (AACA Museum) and taking the time to see all three floors. It is really an amazing place! Love!

Hershey Gardens

After visiting the AACA Museum, we went to Hershey Gardens. Despite being cold and winery outside, it was so nice to stroll through the gardens and see the beautiful, manicured flowers, plants, trees, etc. I definitely would like to return in the late spring when everything is in full bloom. It looks like the flowers and roses will be beautiful! In November, we caught the end of the fall foliage and a few roses remained for us to enjoy. The gardens were decorated for the holidays, so it was magical. Loved it!

Again, if you are in Hershey, PA, definitely visit Hershey Gardens! It is a beautiful walk, perfect chance for fresh air, and you will love the manicured gardens.

Hersheypark on a summer day

wearing: sunglasses / hoop earrings / blue tee / east/west bag / denim shorts (old, also love this pair) / blue nail polish / sneakers /

Who doesn’t love Hersheypark?! We spent a fun summer day at Hersheypark where my adventurous kids rode several roller coasters and I, the aging adult, stuck to the tamer rides. haha

The weather was quite warm, so in the middle of the day we took a break and enjoyed some dipping dots. Cookies and cream is my favorite. Yum!

At the end of the day, it was time to slow down and enjoy a chocolate themed dinner at The Chocolatier. This was my second time eating there, so I made sure to indulge in a Reese’s martini and chicken sandwich complete with chocolate drizzle. My martini was garnished with a mini Reese’s. So good! This place is a chocolate fans dream!

If you order a milkshake, be prepared for a shake the size of dessert for four. They are huge! I apologize for not getting a photo, we had two shakes, and they were a lot of food! Delicious, but a lot of food! Whoa!

So, I have to say, if you visit Pennsylvania, you cannot skip Hershey! There is a museum downtown and Hersheypark is a ton of fun for all ages. Plus, the Hershey company store has chocolates you can’t find elsewhere. We definitely brought some chocolate home with us! Yum!

Thanks for stopping by!

Harrisburg and Hershey PA

Harrisburg is the capitol of Pennsylvania, so we had to check it out! We explored the government buildings and historical architecture, as well as the beautiful waterfront. What a pretty city! We need to go back and check out the museums too.

After Harrisburg, we drove over to Hershey PA for dinner. I mean, who doesn’t want to eat dinner in a chocolate themed restaurant? I know I do! Love!

Before dinner, we went to the Hershey Museum and learned all about how Hershey started his chocolate empire and also the history of the company and chocolate itself. What an amazing museum! If you ever visit Pennsylvania, be sure to head over to the Hershey Museum. It is an amazing experience!

After the museum, we went to the Hershey company store to shop for, you guessed it, chocolate! Check out this “snack sized” Kit Kat!

We ended up purchasing a few different types of Hershey Kisses as well as some small samples of flavors we don’t normally see in stores. Then, we headed over to the restaurant for dinner, The Chocolatier.

I enjoyed a cotton candy soda, mushroom risotto, and we shared a chocolate dessert at the end of the night. It was really fun, and the food was yummy. I would definitely go back. Loved it!

So, next time you visit Pennsylvania, definitely check out Hershey, Hersheypark, The Chocolatier, and the museum! Love!

Thanks for stopping by,
