San Jose Earthquakes at Levi’s Stadium

wearing: hoop earrings / sunglasses / San Jose Earthquakes tee / clear handbag (old, similar here) / pink nail polish / jeans / black boots /

When the World Cup was hosted here in the United States, I started to get soccer fever. It was fun to watch the games and learn the rules. As a former athlete and sports fan, it was easy for me to add a new sport to my fandom. So, now that the regular soccer season is well underway, I am following the Earthquakes and cheering them on!

Last weekend the San Jose Earthquakes played their game against LA at Levi’s Stadium instead of their usual stadium. As a huge niners fan, it was fun to see a game at Levi’s Stadium which is filled with 49ers logos, pictures, memorabilia, and overall vibes.

My husband landed two tickets in a suite for the game, so I jumped at the chance to go! The suite was filled with paintings and pictures of the 49ers, past and present. It also had a great view of the field, a lot of food, and comfortable seating. Love!

In addition to sushi which looked like mini tacos, we enjoyed French Fries, actual tacos, and pizza. It was fun watching the game, but I wish regular soccer games had the tie breaking kick off that is done in the World Cup. It was a little sad ending the game in a tie. I kinda enjoy the kick-off for tie-breakers in the World Cup. But, that’s ok, it was still really fun seeing a soccer game at Levi’s Satdium!

BAF Weekly List

BAF Weekly List from top left: chocolate brown sweater / Hermes nail polish / Chanel fall nail polish / Dior nail polish / neutral tote bag / black tote bag / satin skirt / gold hoops / city bag / Prada lip set / Chanel edp / black boots (code CATHY10) / suede high heels (code CATHY10) / suede kitten heels (code CATHY15) /

Pink nail polish, soft fabrics, and timeless handbags are all hot for fall; and can always withstand the test of time. Love that!

As we put together our understated outfits for the fall season, the runways in New York have been pushing the current flow of fashion by giving us bold colors, volume, and sparkle. What did we see in line with our current taste? The continuation of the anonymous handbag, more former IT bags reincarnated, solid colors not patterns, barely-there shoes (we saw a lot of bare feet), and soft fabrics. What does this mean for our current closets? Well, it’s good news!

This means we can keep our current style in spring 2027 and just add color! There might be a few more puffy sleeves and voluminous skirts on the market, but overall, we can add to our wardrobes with pops of colors, and color mixing. Our neutral pieces we have invested in can easily be mixed into the new, colorful look. You can check out my post about the upcoming spring 2027 color trends here.

That being said, let’s move back into the fall season. As we head towards cooler temperatures, continue to invest in soft fabrics, pink nail polish, and handbags which exude quality not logos. Love this!

Preview of “Forgotten Island”

wearing: gold hoop earrings / sunglasses / jacket / olive tee / black jeans / fall nail polish / black handbag / black boots /

My first movie preview! I had never been to a movie preview before last weekend! When I received an invite to preview the new Dreamworks movie “Forgotten Island” before it releases on September 25, 2026, I jumped at the chance! How fun!

Although there weren’t any celebrity or industry sightings, there was free popcorn. Yay! Plus, it was fun to wear a VIP badge and see the movie early. Double yay!

“Forgotten Island” is about best friends going on an adventure and learning about friendship, respect, determination, and appreciation or each other. I wish I could tell you everything about the movie I love, but I am afraid of releasing a spoiler! I really want you to check out the movie yourself. Please see it! Love!

What I wore to preview “Forgotten Island:”

Well, I know this doesn’t say much except that the movie is amazing and send a good message about friendship and respect. Please go see it!

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the movie too!
