It’s getting so chilly outside, we all need a new, cozy sweater to wear now! For the fall/winter 2018/19 seasons, there are a few sweater trends to watch for, which can help us all decide which style sweater to invest in this season.

The runways in New York showed us collegiate style sweaters with striped v-neck’s, argyle,  and v-neck cardigans. Designers also showed over-sized, turtleneck sweaters, and 1980s throwback styles. These are all fun styles for sweaters, and thankfully there are a lot on the market this season priced under $150! Love!

I love all of the cozy, over-sized turtleneck sweaters this season. They are cozy and chic at the same time. Since sweaters can be costly this time of year, especially if they are designer, I found 10 fabulous sweaters under $150 around the web, which fit perfectly into the current trends, and assembled them into this post. These skinny jeans are really comfortable; and they can be rolled up, tucked into boots, or worn straight. I normally wear a size 8 or 10 (28-31) in jeans. This is a great pair of classic black, skinny jeans. They can be paired with high heels at night, or with boots during the day. I know I will get a lot of wear out of them! These run a little bigger than the dark wash. Although I am wearing a 10, I feel like an 8 would have fit better. They are on the loose side in a size 10. If you order black, and are between sizes, order a size down.

This is my favorite pair of the three; the bootcut Royalty for Me “Wanna Betta Butt” jeans! I love a 1970s vibe, and the fabric is really soft! The bootcut jeans run true to size. I am wearing a 10, which I feel like fits really well. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.

Chico’s No-Iron Sateen Shirt is a classic must-have

There is nothing like a classic shirt for your closet. I love a shirt which makes jeans look sleek and put together, and that also can be paired with trousers, or a suit, for the office. That is the ultimate in versatility!

This shirt is by Chico’s, and can be found in their Amazon shop online. It comes in a TON of colors and prints; so I definitely want more than one, don’t you? It’s really comfortable this time of year since the fabric is just thick enough for moderate weather, and it is just thin enough to be layered under a blazer, jacket, or sweater. Love that!

It’s been really cold this week, which is fun because it finally feels like we are moving towards winter! The sky has been grey, but not grey enough to give us rain; which we always need more of here in California! haha You can see the grey skies, and dark weather in these photos. This is how it has been all week! Brrrrr!

You always know it’s darker than normal when the holiday lights are still on during the day on the trees! You can just make them out in these photos. I love how downtown Saratoga has holiday lights on the trees throughout the year. It’s beautiful at night, and the lights also signal grey days when they don’t shut off during normal daylight hours!

I might need to pick up this shirt in some more colors to off-set these grey days! You can find yours online here.
