The Chloe Hudson is arguably fall 2015’s hottest IT bag. Over the past few seasons, Chloe has designed a series of fabulous handbags which have instantly shot up to cool status. In these handbags status as cool, many have been elevated to IT bag status; and for fall 2015, Chloe has done it again.

First we had the classic Chloe Marcie, then we had the chic Chloe Drew, then Chloe gave us the retro styled Chloe Faye in not one, but two amazing sizes, then, for fall 2015, Chloe has given us the Hudson. The Hudson is everything, everyone wants in a handbag for fall.

The Chloe Hudson has earned it’s current IT bag status by offering high fashion on a handbag which can be worn effortlessly, everyday. Chloe designed several versions of the Chloe Hudson, and will be reinventing the style every season. Love that!

The 1970s are huge decade of influence for the fall 2015 season, and the Chloe Hudson delivers on the trend. On my version of the Chloe Hudson, there is a medium sized tassel in the center of the front flap closure of the handbag, which offers a playful take on a ’70’s trend. The stitching around the edges of the flap closure offer a bohemian vibe, while the small studs around the edges of the bag offer just a tiny bit of edgy-cool. Oh yes, this bag has it all where style is concerned.

The interior of the Chloe Hudson offers three compartments which are perfect for organizing one’s purse essentials. The outer pocket offers enough room for a smart phone, notepad, or anything small you need to access quickly. I use it solely for my phone so I can quickly grab it when I need it.

The main interior compartment is luxuriously roomy. It offers enough room for a paperback book in addition to a wallet, keys, lipstick, sunglasses, and more! As you can see in the photos above, there is a lot of room to spare. The inner interior pocket is slim, and ideal for holding theater tickets, papers, a passport, or anything important.

I love everything about the Chloe Hudson. It is made from a sturdy calf leather which lends itself well to everyday wear. The flap closure gives the shoulder bag a saddle bag style, which is the hottest handbag silhouette of the moment. I love the 1970s vibe of the bag, and the construction is beautiful.

Sometimes IT bags are on the dressier side, and look out of place when paired with casual clothing and denim. The Chloe Hudson is the perfect answer to this problem. This beautiful handbag looks at home with jeans, and anything casual! It looks out of place with dressy attire, or anything too structured. This is the ultimate, casual IT bag. Love it!

The Chloe Hudson is flying off of store shelves for the fall 2015 season, and Chloe is already beginning to stock it in new colors, and variations, for resort 2016; proving the Chloe Hudson will have longevity as we move into 2016, and beyond!

I rate the Chloe Hudson, five out of five stars!

I found a few fabulous versions of the Chloe Hudson in mini, small, and medium sizes; and assembled them into the shopping widget below. I hope you love this bag as much as I do! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous 😉

Since the 70’s have become the decade of influence on fashion for fall 2015, I have been obsessed with owning a button down, suede a-line skirt. When I found this skirt on major sale, in one size too big, I snapped it up; despite the size issue.

Being one size too big did not seem like a big issue when I purchased the skirt. It sags a little bit around the waist, making me look a little pregnant in the photos above, but it looks smoother in real life. Suede is a little bit pricey to alter, and since I am in the process of losing ten pounds, I am going to wait before altering the skirt. I want to make sure I am at my goal weight before having the skirt made to fit me perfectly.

I love this skirt so much. The suede is soft, and the skirt is comfortable. I cannot wait to wear it with a cozy sweater in the winter, and warm boots. I love the vintage look of the skirt, and the fact that is it navy blue! Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear.

If you are looking for a navy, suede a-line skirt, with buttons down the front, there is a similar one by Theory on sale here and here.

I am also in love with this secretary style blouse. The polka dots are so much fun, and the tie is a throwback to the 1970’s. It reminds me of a modern version of the silhouette on the vintage blouse my Mom gave me, last worn here.

This blouse will be fun to wear on casual days this fall with boots, flare jeans, and my Mansur Gavriel drawstring bucket bag.

I feel like this suede a-line skirt is my hold grail piece of the season. What is the one piece, your “Holy Grail”, that you want this fall?

Have you ever put an outfit together for the benefit of your handbag? It is something I find myself doing quite often when I have a new handbag. I pre-ordered this Chloe Hudson in early summer, so now that I have it, I had to design my outfit around it.

The Chloe Hudson has an obvious, 1970’s influence. Since I wanted a casual look for the weekend, I decided to play off the 70’s style and wear my favorite pair of flare jeans. In order to not compete with the handbag, I paired the jeans with classic black boots, and my favorite black top; which I wore recently at fashion week, and find myself reaching for often. I thought the basic outfit would draw the eye to the handbag.

As you know, I love handbags; and Chloe is one of my favorite handbag designers. The Chloe Hudson first caught my eye when it sailed down the runway for fall 2015. I was excited when it became available for pre-order a few months ago. The original delivery date was in November, but thankfully, it came in September. I’m in love!

I am looking forward to pairing my Chloe Hudson with a variety of looks this fall. I have more casual outfits in mind, and cannot wait to pair it with my suede skirt, last seen here, and more! It also made an appearance on the spring 2016 runway, so this handbag definitely has longevity. Love that!

For the fall and winter season, I also found I needed a new pair of black boots. I am thrilled to have found this classic pair by Tory Burch. The sole has a small lug sole which will be perfect in the winter season to help keep me from slipping on wet sidewalks, or icy surfaces. They may have to come with me to fashion week in February!

Do you ever find yourself designing your outfit around your handbag?

I will be reviewing my new Chloe Hudson later this week, so stay tuned for the upcoming post!
