Chanel Intention nail polish is a new, neutral nail polish hue from Chanel. The sparkling, peachy hue was introduced as a late fall 2014 color.

Chanel Intention nail polish is limited edition and an ideal nail polish color to add to your nail color wardrobe by offering a slight twist on classic nude nail polish. Instead of offering a beige base, Chanel Intention offers a sweet, peachy hue which acts as a nude yet steps outside the traditional nude nail polish boundaries. Intention by Chanel has a slightly sparkling yet creamy finish with high gloss shine. It is a great color to have as an alternative to nude nail polish this season.

I tested out Chanel Intention nail polish from the late fall 2014 beauty collection with two coats of color, one base coat and no top coat. The nail polish lasted five days before chipping. Since the color is soft, the chips were extremely unnoticeable. Love that!

The verdict? Chanel Intention nail polish is a fabulous nail polish color to keep on hand for those times when you feel like a nude nail polish, but want something with a little more sass.

Chanel Exception nail polish late fall 2014 review

Chanel Exception nail polish fall 2014

Chanel Exception is one of three nail polish hues from Chanel’s late fall 2014 beauty collection. The nail polish collection features classic hues in burgundy, red and dark nude. Exception is a pretty, mid-burgundy color which offers a flat, timeless hue.

Burgundy is arguably the most important color of the classic autumn hue spectrum. Every fall season we enjoy clothing and accessories in vibrant shades of burgundy, oxblood and maroon. Therefore, it is no wonder that a fall nail polish hue should be part of any nail polish collection. Chanel rarely offers a burgundy in their red nail polish collection. Normally, Chanel offers every shade of classic red imaginable; without crossing into burgundy territory. Although there have been a few burgundy’s over the past decade, it has not been offered as much as classic red.

Exception by Chanel is a beautiful nail polish hue which is both classic and ideal for the current season. This pretty interpretation of burgundy is easy to wear and works well with all of autumn’s hues. Chanel Exception nail polish is also a great investment color to keep in ones’ nail polish collection.

I tested out Chanel Exception nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color; no top coat. The nail polish held up really well and did not chip until the sixth day. Love that!

Chanel “Orage” nail polish is a black nail polish hue from Chanel’s fall 2014 beauty collection. The nail polish shade is dark, vampish and an edgy way to be neutral for the upcoming cool weather season. With fall 2014’s dark autumn hues and contrasting bright colors, a black nail polish is the perfect way to have a neutral nail polish color which is easy to wear on a daily basis; especially if fall 2014’s nude nail trend is not your style.

I tested out Chanel “Orage” nail polish with two coats of color, one base coat and no top coat. The nail polish lasted seven days; which is really good for a dark nail polish without a top coat!
