chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection review

Chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection from left: Chanel Rouge Noir nail polish / Chanel New Dawn nail polish / Chanel Horizon Line nail polish

The new Chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection is here! Chanel has included three, beautiful colors for the autumn season this year. My favorite color in the fall collection is “New Horizon.” It is a pale, blue-grey hue which is fresh and unexpected for the fall season. Love that!

The other two colors in the Chanel fall 2017 nail polish are more classic, traditional fall colors. “New Dawn” is a soft neutral hue which is a cool, pale beige or nude. “Rouge Noir” is a vampy, red-black color which is dark, mysterious, and ideal for the dark hues we are seeing in the fall 2017 apparel collections.

Each one of the Chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection colors is a stand-alone hue which serves a different purpose. I love all three! Without further ado, here are my reviews and swatches of each one of the Chanel fall 2017 nail polish colors from the autumn collection.

Chanel fall 2017 nail polish: Chanel Horizon Line nail polish fall 2017

chanel nail polish fall 2017 review

Chanel Horizon Line nail polish for fall 2017 is my favorite color from the autumn nail polish collection. I love the grey-blue hue which acts as a neutral, without being a neutral. Love that!

This is a fresh color other nail polish companies simply do not produce. I love it when Chanel offers original colors which cannot be found elsewhere. It helps makes the polish more special. Horizon Line by Chanel will be an easy color to wear this fall since it contrasts to the dark colors being shown this season, as well as offers a nice blend for fall’s cobalt blue trend. Chanel Horizon Line nail polish will be the color I reach for the most this fall 2017 season.

Chanel Horizon Line nail polish is a great color to wear now, and into the fall 2017 season. The pale grey-blue hue of the polish allows it to play well with the current late summer color palette, as well as move right into the fall 2017 season without clashing with any autumn hues. I plan to wear this nail polish now, and well into the fall season. I am in love!

I tested out Chanel Horizon Line nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. Horizon Line by Chanel is a cream nail polish and it applies smoothly, without streaking. Since it is part of the Chanel Long-wear collection, Horizon Line by Chanel does not chip easily; and I felt like I did not need a top coat. Love!

Chanel fall 2017 nail polish: Chanel New Dawn nail polish fall 2017

chanel new dawn nail polish fall 2017

Chanel New Dawn nail polish for fall 2017 is soft beige or nude color. This is the ideal neutral for the autumn season and it is also a great contrast to the dark fall 2017 color palette. New Dawn by Chanel is also a great color to wear now, and into the early fall season. It is a great summer to fall transition color, which makes it a great nail polish wardrobe staple to have on hand. The color is also a classic neutral, so it will be easy to wear with anything. Love that!

To test out Chanel New Dawn nail polish, I used one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. Chanel New Dawn is a cream nail polish which applies smoothly and streak-free. It is part of the Chanel Long-wear collection and does not chip easily. No top coat needed! Love that!

Chanel fall 2017 nail polish: Chanel Rouge Noir nail polish fall 2017

chanel rouge noir nail polish fall 2017

Chanel Rouge Noir nail polish for fall 2017 is oh-so-vampy! What was once know as the new Vamp, number 18 has now been named Rouge Noir, and it is the perfect black-red nail polish color. Rouge Noir by Chanel is also a nail polish wardrobe staple. This is a classic, deep, dark red hue which is great to have on hand when you want to be on the edgier side with your nail polish color. I love the mysterious vibe Chanel Rouge Noir offers. This is also a great color to wear with the fall 2017 1970s vintage trend. It seems to be the perfect color to wear with the trend. Love that!

Dark nail polish colors tend to chip easily, but I was pleasantly pleased to see Chanel Rouge Noir nail polish did not chip as easily as it’s counterparts. I tried out Rouge Noir by Chanel with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. This is a cream nail polish which applied smoothly, and did not streak. The color was even, and saturated, with only two coats; this is hard to accomplish with darker polishes. It too is part of the Chanel Long-wear collection, which helps the nail polish not to chip.

The Chanel fall 2017 nail polish collection contains an edgy, yet classic, fall-like vibe with a neutral hue, a vampy color, and a new color invention. There seems to be a color for every occasion, yet all three colors will work well with any fall color palette. I love all three of these nail polish colors for fall 2017 by Chanel!

Which nail polish color is your favorite for the fall 2017 season? Are you loving one color; or more then one color from the collection?

The Chanel Cruise 2017 nail polish collection for early summer is here! This is a fabulous collection named “Les Indispensables de L’Ete.” Are you confused yet? Yes, Chanel has given this collection a name which tells you it is a summer nail polish collection, yet the official name is Cruise 2017. Is this a resort collection or early summer collection? I am going with a summer 2017 nail polish collection from Chanel.

Chanel always introduces a fabulous collection of nail color between spring and summer; this is that collection. It consists of four beautiful colors; three of which are traditional warm weather hues while one is avant-garde and edgy. Love that!

The three traditional summer nail polish colors are Coquillage, Sea Whip, and Coralium. All three offer a pinkish-coral hue in varying shades. If an orange-pink nail polish is not your thing, Chanel Sargasso nail polish is a dark, green-blue color which is dark and edgy. It is fabulous!

All four nail polish colors from the Cruise 2017 nail polish collection, which is really an early summer 2017 nail polish collection from Chanel, are from the Longwear nail colour collection. They are long lasting; just like the other colors in the line. Love!

It applies evenly with the second coat; leaving perfect color saturation. This will be a fun color to wear right now, and into the summer months.

Chanel Coralium nail polish for summer 2017 is a coral nail polish lovers dream. This is the color my mom, who loves anything coral, spotted and tried to take from me! Coralium by Chanel is a fabulous coral hue with pinkish tendencies. It is bright, without being neon, and bold, without being rude, and feminine without being too innocent. If you can only have one coral nail polish in your collection, this is the color to snap up for summer!

I tested out Chanel Coralium nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. It is a cream nail polish and it glided on smoothly. No streaking! Love that!

Sea Whip by Chanel is my favorite of the three traditional nail polish colors from the Cruise 2017 collection, which is really a summer 2017 collection. It is a versatile, pretty pink color which is easy to wear during the day or at night. I am considering wearing this color to an upcoming conference in Texas I will be attending later this week. Chanel has done it again! Sargasso by Chanel for summer 2017 is an amazing, edgy hue which is unexpected for the warm weather season. If you are not a pink person, this is the color for you. It works well with summer’s color palette; making it easy to wear during the day or for evening events. This is a fun color I enjoy wearing when I am not in a pink mood. Love it!

I tested out Chanel Sargasso nail polish for summer with one base coat and two coats of color. Despite the dark color, Sargasso glides on smoothly, allowing the second coat to not be streaky. It offers an even color on the nails, allowing it to look luxurious and rich. Love that too!

So which color from the Chanel summer 2017 nail polish collection do you love? Sargasso and Sea Whip are my two favorites; but I do plan to rotate through all four of them . I love changing up my nail polish color.

Chanel nail polish Act II for spring 2017

spring 2017 chanel nail polish

Chanel nail polish for late spring 2017 from left to right: Chanel Emblematique nail polish, Chanel Tulle nail polish, Chanel Androgyne nail polish and my favorite from the collection, Chanel Washed Denim nail polish

Chanel nail polish has released their second spring 2017 nail polish for the season. As with the second release of Chanel handbags in a given season, let’s refer to this late spring 2017 release as “Act II.”

The new spring 2017 nail polish collection from Chanel has four brand new longwear colors for the warm weather season. There is a vampy, chocolate brown hue named “Androgyne,” a playful red named ” Emblematique,” a classic and vivid pink named “Tulle,” and my favorite shade from the collection, “Washed Denim.”

All four of Chanel’s late spring 2017 nail polish colors are limited edition, and are made with the iconic design house’s longwear nail color formula.

Chanel Washed Denim nail polish spring 2017

chanel washed denim spring 2017 nail polish

Well I had to start with my favorite! Chanel Washed Denim nail polish for spring 2017 is a fabulous slate blue hue. This is a slight twist on the season’s grey nail polish trend. If grey is too dreary for you, Washed Denim by Chanel is the color you are seeking! This is a great alternative to grey, yet it is still considered part of the grey color family. Love that!

I used one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. Washed Denim is a cream nail polish and it glides on evenly; no streaks! Since it is a grey-ish color, and grey is a neutral, Chanel Washed Denim nail polish is an easy color to wear for spring 2017. It plays well with the various color palettes of the season. Love!

Chanel Emblematique nail polish spring 2017

chanel emblematique nail polish spring 2017

If you are a classic red nail polish kind of gal, Chanel Emblematique nail polish for spring 2017 is your hue! There is a slight orange-red tinge to this polish, yet it does not look overly orange; it is quite red. This is a playful red which is a few shades darker than cherry. It could easily be worn in the fall or winter season; it is that type of red. I am wearing it with one base coat and two coats of color, no top coat. Emblematique by Chanel is a cream nail polish and it applies evenly without streaking. Very fabulous and chic! Love!

Chanel Androgyne nail polish spring 2017

chanel androgyne spring 2017 nail polish

Chanel Androgyne nail polish for spring 2017 is a deep, dark, chocolate brown. How autumnal! Yes, this is traditionally a fall color, but Chanel has inserted it into their late spring 2017 nail polish collection, and it is fabulous. If you are seeking something which goes against the norm, this is your nail polish for spring.

I tested out Chanel Androgyne nail polish for spring 2017 with one base coat, two coats of color and no top coat. This too is a cream nail polish which does not streak. It offers a solid finish with high shine. This is my second favorite color of the collection. I am kind of obsessed with it! Since brown is a neutral, this is an easy nail polish to wear with any ensemble. Love!

Chanel Tulle nail polish spring 2017

chanel tulle nail polish spring 2017

Chanel Tulle is a traditional spring pink nail polish. Tulle by Chanel is vivid and bright, making it a fun pink to wear this spring season. This is definitely the most classic color from Chanel’s Act II spring 2017 nail polish collection. It is also a great pink to have in one’s nail polish wardrobe. I am wearing it with one base coat and two coats of color. This is a cream nail polish and it does not streak. Love this pink!

So what do you think of this second spring 2017 nail polish collection by Chanel? Do you like the colors? I love this collection because it is more unexpected than other Chanel collections from recent seasons. While Chanel Tulle offers a classic spring pink hue, the other three colors are either edgy, or pulled from other seasons.

Chanel Washed Denim nail polish is going to be my go-to for the rest of the spring 2017 season. I really love the blue-grey hue. It is on trend, edgy, yet neutral. Love that! When I want to mix things up, I am going to reach for Chanel Androgyne. This chocolate brown hue is unexpected for the spring season, making it a fun and edgy alternative to spring 2017’s grey nail polish trend. Lastly, if I need to look classic for spring, Chanel Tulle will be my go-to. It is a nice, vivid pink; perfect for feminine and classic ensembles. For me, Chanel Emblematique nail polish is a special occasion color. I don’t wear red on a daily basis, but I love how it looks with cocktail attire, or gala gowns.
