Spring is in the air! While it is still winter outside, many of us are looking at spring for our closets to brighten up our days. The easiest way to wear a little bit of spring, and cheerfulness right now, is with spring lipstick and spring nail polish.

Another way we are all updating our wardrobes is with grey handbags. Since grey is 50% of the color of 2021, a grey handbag is an easy way to modernize our wardrobes for 2021. I’m loving this workhorse cross body bag, which happens to be a classic IT bag, and this fabulous, soft satchel; a current IT bag.

The square toe is hotter than hot for spring, and these spring mules are perfect for early spring; and throughout the season. I love the sculpted, stacked heel on them too. Stay tuned-they are part of my spring shoe capsule coming to the blog later this month!

Puffy sleeves are huge this year! They were all over the runways for both the spring/summer 2021 and fall/winter 2021/22 seasons. This means a puffy sleeve top, or a dress, is a fabulous investment for the year. I love this black, long sleeve puffy sleeve top for transitioning from winter into spring. It will be great on cooler spring and summer nights when the fog rolls in too. Loving it!

Outdoor fitness is hot, and will continue to be from now into the summer. These running shoes are fabulous for running, walking, and working out. I use mine for all of them!

Are you loving the year of the IT bag yet? I know I am! I love the resurgence of classic IT bags such as the Coach Swinger, and the Chloe Marcie. It’s also fun to see all the current modern IT bags from Bottega Venetta, Givenchy, and more. Also, have you seen the Prada Cleo yet? This bag took inspiration from Prada’s IT bag line-up in the 1990s and added a modern twist in order to become the ultimate IT bag for 2021. Check out my review here.

OK, let’s get to the IT list! There are three, piping hot handbags right now; this cute little basket bag from Loewe, the Coach Swinger which is reasonably priced under $300, and the destined to be classic Antigona Soft by Givenchy. Have you snapped one up yet?

Combat boots are proving to be the hottest shoe style of the moment. They were hotter than hot during the fall and winter seasons. Now, the style is showing it will carry well into spring. You can pair them with jeans and a tee as the weather warms up, and throw your new basket bag on your arm for a little spring flair. Love!

Too cold to wear anything spring? No problem! Spring nail polish is the top selling item right now, and it’s not a surprise. This fabulous spring hue from Chanel sparkles, and it offers a fun, cheery color for the warm weather season. It also brightens up a cold and dreary, winter day. Are your nails saying “spring!” yet?

Bracelets stacks are back, and these gemstone bracelets from a local designer are hot. At $25 each, you can buy more than one and create a fabulous stack. Or, you can grab one and enhance a current stack from your jewelry box. Either way, the price is right to indulge.

These distressed jeans are priced right, fit well, and offer a great everyday look. I love my pair! Snap up a pair before they are gone!

February is such a nice combination of winter, with glimpses of spring. I love how a few blossoms are starting to pop up on trees, yet mornings and evenings are still cool, and crisp. It is a great time of year to play with spring accessories such as nail polish and handbags, while still staying warm in a cozy sweater and jeans.

One of my favorite parts of 2021 is the resurgence of classic IT bags which had a moment one or two decades ago. It’s fabulous to see how some bags have staying power, and continue to be well loved. I love both of the bags featured today; and I wear mine often! If you haven’s invested in at least one yet, I highly recommend investing! They are both high quality and extremely well made. You will love wearing them; or one of them at least!
