We traveled to Harrisburg PA last week and enjoyed the 4th of July celebration along the Susquehanna River. During the day we enjoyed live music and food trucks. The milkshake pictured above was my favorite food of the day. So good!

After the 4th of July celebration during the day, we settled onto the lawn in anticipation of the fireworks show. As a bonus, we enjoyed the sunset on the river. It was so pretty and we saw fireflies!

The fireworks show was launched from City Island where the baseball stadium is located. The fireworks show was beautiful and lasted roughly fifteen minutes. It was the perfect amount of time, and we really enjoyed it.

If you find yourself in Pennsylvania next year for the 4th of July, I highly recommend catching the festivities in Harrisburg.

Of course, blue nail polish is perfect at any time, especially when we are celebrating our country. This is my favorite bottle.
