The warm weather is upon us, and although it is not Memorial Day weekend just yet, Fashionistas everywhere are starting to head out to the beach. In order to fully enjoy a day of soaking in the sun, splashing in the waves and building sand castles, one must carry many essential items to the beach.

Beach essentials often include extra towels, a sweatshirt, extra clothing, an extra swimsuit, sunblock, a Frisbee, sunglasses, a magazine and more. In order to fit all of the fun-in-the-sun items one needs for a day at the beach, a fashion-savvy beach goer must have a proper beach tote!

A day at the beach has always involved bright colors, so summer 2012 will be an easy season for being on-trend and well-prepared for a day at the beach. Large and roomy beach totes are easy to find on store shelves this season; the hard part is choosing which one!

Elizabeth Hurley was on set last week filming an episode of “Gossip Girl” when she was spotted carrying a fabulous handbag by luxury vegan accessories designer Jill Milan!
