As spring starts to sprinkle onto store shelves, we are seeing lucky red for the new year, pale pink, and shades of mocha. In addition, the anonymous handbag is stronger than ever; despite efforts from designers to bring back IT bags from twenty years ago. Logowear is still in storage, and consumers do not currently have an appetite to bring it out and rock it on the streets. In 2025, stay anonymous and chic.

These wide leg jeans are not only on trend, high quality and comfortable, they are on sale. Love that! This pair of wide leg jeans is available in regular sizing, petite, plus, and tall. I own a petite pair. They are amazing and fit so well! I love it when a brand offers all of the size types!

When it comes to nail polish, spring pastels, lucky red and shades of mocha are hotter than hot. This gives us so many options when choosing a nail color. Love that!

Pop of pink on a winter day

A black top and a comfy pair of jeans is a common go-to look for many people. It is easy to put together and always looks chic. When I wear a black top and jeans, I always like to add a pop of another color. Lately, I have been in a pink mood, so I added a pop of pink!

This black sweater has become my go-to black top these fall and winter seasons. It is perfect to wear alone, or under a cozy down coat. As with any black top, it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. You may have seen me wear this sweater quite a bit this season! It will carry me through winter and spring and will get pulled out again for frequent wear next fall too. Love that! It’s all about investment dressing!

I recently wore this outfit for a ramen meal with my family. It was the perfect cozy look for a cozy meal. Love!

Spring is starting to pop up on store shelves and lucky red is flying off of them! As we move through January, look for lucky red touches to help bring luck in the new year such as nail polish and handbags. Love!

The spring trends are starting to emerge and lighter hues are popping up in stores. In addition to shades of mocha this year, watch for light shades of pink, and various shades of blue and green. I am loving the color trends of 2025!

In addition, handbags are staying anonymous and there is still a backlash against overpriced luxury handbags. Look for quality brands and designers to resign supreme in the new year. The belted tote, east/west shoulder bags, slouchy totes and bucket bags, mini shoulder bags (pouchette’s), and boxy bags are going to be hot this year! Pull yours out of your closet if you haven’t already and stay tuned for my trend report with the best bags on the market coming up later this month!
