Happy June! As we move into the summer months, we are seeing fabulous summer prints, the anonymous handbag, natural fibers on handbags, eye-catching sandals, classic jewelry, and shades of blue nail polish. Love!

The move away from wearing tonal neutrals is gone for the summer months; while adding pretty colors and prints has moved into our wardrobes. Love that!

Don’t be afraid to wear colors and prints; and mix them all together! Have some fun with your personal style this summer.

Casual summer night out

Now that summer weather has arrived, we are looking at restaurants with outdoor patios. When my oldest daughter arrived home from college, we decided to celebrate with a festive dinner out at Teske’s Germania in downtown San Jose.

Teske’s is a German restaurant with a covered outdoor patio and live music. They offer large portions of food, and beer. The wine list is good too. We enjoyed too much food, live music, and a festive vibe on the outdoor patio. It was a fun night out!

Since the restaurant is casual, I wore my favorite oversize tee, classic jeans and my city tote. It was perfect for the mild, summery weather.

If you are local to the Bay Area, I recommend checking out Teske’s Germania in San Jose. Be sure to bring cash! They have a small fee for using a credit card. Luckily, we had cash with us! haha

Prints, cool nail polish, and the anonymous handbag are hotter than hot this summer season. Nail polish in oceanic hues are flying off store shelves and many seasonal colors will sell out. If you see a nail polish color for summer you love, don’t wait to purchase it. Brands aren’t keeping large inventories of seasonal colors; they are selling out! Summer 2026 is a fabulous season in nail polish. The colors and the neutrals are amazing, I am in love!

After years of solid neutral clothing, prints are hot this season! I love prints on tee’s skirts, and dresses. Be sure to add at least one print to your summer capsule wardrobe this year!
