One of the big color trends for the spring 2017 season is to wear green and blue together. I love how the two colors look with each other. Since green, blue, purple, and pink are my favorite colors, wearing any combination of them makes me happy!
I wore this outfit over the weekend to attend a fundraiser with a St. Patrick’s Day theme. Although this was perfect for the green-themed occasion, it is a dress I know I will find myself reaching for over and over again throughout spring; and this summer too! After all, “Greenery” is the color of the year! Therefore, all things green are fabulous! Love!

Since athleisure is about as close to walking around town in workout clothes as I am going to get, I tried to glam up my casual daytime look. If you are wondering how to wear the athleisure trend for spring 2017, it is actually quite easy! All you need is one pair of comfy leggings or sweatpants, a fabulous pair of Adidas sneakers, a cute yet casual tee, and of course your go-to Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. Voila! This sparkle tee in navy with rose gold threading is a full on game changer. It is a casual, basic tee by nature, yet elevated because it sparkles. I have to admit, I also bought it in beige with yellow golden threads. It is perfect for making everyday jeans and a tee into a glamorous ensemble. I love how it makes these leggings and a tee outfit something special.
Athleisure for spring would not be as cool as it is without a pair of Adidas sneakers! Back in the 1990s I owned a pair with navy stripes, and before that, I had the old school, green striped version. For spring 2017, I decided to glam things up and I bought them with the rose gold stripes. I love the rose gold!!! The spring season is here! This means it is time to start rocking those spring trends! The biggest trend from the New York Fashion Week runways for spring/summer 2017 was stripes. Designers showed everything from apparel to handbags to shoes with stripes. Stripes were shown in multi-color designs, varying sizes, asymmetrical, and mixed together. No two stripes were alike!
While some may argue stripes are merely a classic spring nautical trend, one cannot ignore that stripes for spring 2017 are not your average spring stripe! Stripes for spring 2017 are cutting-edge, fresh, and taking us in an entirely new direction. This is trend a to have fun with, mix up, and enjoy for spring! Love that!
