Moulin Rouge! is right here in San Jose now through Sunday! It was so much fun attending the premiere last night and getting a chance to have a date night with my hubby. Love that!
We enjoyed arriving early to the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts and exploring the lobby. After grabbing a glass of wine, we admired art inspired by Moulin Rouge! and also the Moulin Rouge! themed shop. We even spotted a few guests dressed in theme, including a man in a sparkling blazer and top hat! What fun!
The show itself was amazing. I love the lights and the set, and of course, the singing! Satine’s voice was out of this world. She was played by Arianna Rosario. Her voice was beautiful!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! I love this annual sale because you get a sneak peek into fall, and if you love something, you can buy before it returns to full price. Love that!
If you have a Nordstrom credit card, you already know the drill. Depending on your spending level, you can start shopping today, tomorrow, or Thursday. If you don’t have a card, the sale opens to the public on July 12. The sale ends on August 3, 2025, so if you like something, snap it up before it sells out or ends up back at regular price.
Every year, I recommend investing in basics from the sale. This is a great time to snap up underwear, workout clothing, jeans, and classic items. This year, Nordstrom has a great selection of boots, sweaters, and jewelry. So, I recommend investing in a few seasonal items from those categories too. I plan to get at least one of pair of boots, possibly two. I also want a short sleeve sweater as well as a long sleeve sweater. Jewelry is starting to make a comeback, so a little bling sounds good too!

This fall 2025 season, sweaters are getting chic! Look for Chanel inspired styles, classic v-necks, sweaters inspired by golf and tennis, neutral hues, interesting knits, short sleeves, shades of dark red and olive, and the return of the cardigan sweater. Love this! I can’t wait to invest in fall sweaters. They are my favorite way to stay cozy in the fall season! Love!

Beauty products never go on sale, except during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, also known as the NSALE. There are a few fabulous deals from the sale worth adding to cart. Also, if you are looking for a new hairdryer, I own this hairdryer and love it, and the price is right during the sale! Love!
I also noticed my favorite neck cream and eye pencils are on sale. This is amazing! I plan to stock up!
Best Boots and Shoes Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025
The best part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the footwear! The shoes and boots are at great prices, and perfect for fall! Western style boots and motorcycle boots are trending as we head into the fall season. If you don’t already have them in your wardrobe, this is a great time to invest in at least one pair, if not more! All three boots featured above are in my cart! Love!
We are also seeing a continuation of Mary Janes, slingback shoes, kitten heels, and lots of suede for the fall 2025 season. The pointed toe is asserting dominance over other toe styles too. So, keep these styles in mind as you shop the sale. Here are my favorites from the footwear section of the sale!

It is calm, relaxing, and you can see everything in your cart before checking out. Online shopping is easier, more peaceful, and definitely more efficient! Love it!

We are a day early because tomorrow we celebrate the 4th of July! As we move into July, continue to invest in timeless styles, summer nail polish, western style boots, and a summery, fruity floral fragrance.
Excited to start shopping for fall? The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts next week for card holders, so be sure to shop your closet first. When shopping your closet, look for sweaters in good condition, wide leg and flare jeans, the anonymous handbag, neutral hues, chocolate brown, western style boots, and black/white combos. Remember, when the sale comes out, don’t be tempted to buy a closet full of clothing. Stick to basics and necessities. This will only be pre-fall. Actual fall will hit store shelves in late July and August. Stay tuned for my picks and shopping advice for the sale next week!
