Coach Cashin Carry tote 22 review

How cute it this little everyday tote by Coach?! I was thrilled when I saw it on Coach’s New York Fashion Week runway for spring 2022. After viewing this new collection, I went to Coach’s Instagram to see if there were any close-up photos of the bag, since my photo service only had full look shots, and no detailed pictures. Lo and behold! This bag turned out to be a “See now buy now” handbag from their spring 2022 collection! What?!?!? Yes!!!

Like the handbag fan that I am, I quickly went to Coach’s website to find this beautiful, everyday tote that I knew I needed in my life. There it was! Coach had their spring 2022 Cashin Carry tote 22 available in four colors on the home page of their website. Score!

The four colors available were all really pretty, but I ultimately decided that the vanilla hue was what I needed in my life. This color is a neutral shade with a yellow tinge, so I felt like I would be able to wear it now, in the fall season, and then again in the spring and summer seasons of next year. It’s a great color! Plus, there is a detachable, cross body strap in coral; another hot hue for spring 2022. If I wanted to go a little more neutral, I could always switch the cross body strap with something not so bright. Right now, the bright strap is fun, and I am enjoying it.

Now, let’s chat about how fabulous the Coach Cashin Carry tote 22 is for everyday wear! There is no disputing that a small tote is a handbag to use everyday. You can easily reach inside and pull out what you need. Plus, the bag is small in stature, but very roomy on the inside. This small little tote fits more than just everyday purse essentials. You can put other items inside too, such as a folded up wool scarf, snacks, gloves, and a snow hat. It’s very roomy! As a mom, a roomy handbag, that isn’t bulky, is a must-have for everyday use.

As you can see, the interior capacity of the Coach Cashin Carry tote 22 is very roomy. These are my typical items I carry around in my handbag on a daily basis. I often add a mask, and as the weather cools down, a folded scarf will also go inside the bag. There is plenty of room for everything I need to carry around. Love that!

The leather on the Coach Cashin Carry tote 22 is soft yet structured. The bag holds it’s shape no matter how much is stuffed inside. It is also lightweight enough when empty to not be a weight issue when stuffed with everything we all need to carry around.

In addition to the main compartment, there is one zipper pocket, and one credit card sized slot, inside the bag. These are great for important items you want to keep secure such as a vaccine card, ID, passport, tickets, and more.

I understand Coach has only released a small inventory of the spring 2022 version of the Coach Cashin Carry tote 22 right now. The full collection, with more color choices and multiple sizes, will debut in the early part of 2022. I will update this post with new links when the collection expands.

What do you think of this cute little tote bag priced under $500? Do you love it as much as I do?

Thanks for stopping by!

BAF Weekly IT List

fall street style trends

BAF Weekly IT List from top left: pouch clutch (huge IT bag, spotted all over the NYFW streets!) / G buckle belt (new IT belt for fall) / Dior fall nail polish / Chanel fall nail polish / small convertible bag (priced under $300) / green pleated skirt / chain bootie / lug sole boot (water resistant) / classic green statement earrings /

Fall trends are hitting the streets! Last week in New York, there were plenty of editors and buyers attending the scaled back fashion week, and showing off the IT items we always look forward to seeing in NYFW street style. We have discovered the new IT belt is no longer the double G belt, it’s the new single G belt; of course also from Gucci. Since I was in the market for a new belt due to my recent weight loss, I snapped up a new single G buckle belt in black, and it’s amazing! If you are in the market for a new investment belt, this is the one! You will love it!

What else was on the streets of New York? This fabulous pouch clutch continues to be a street style hit, plus it’s an IT bag priced under $1000. Love that!

Of course there were other bags not pictured here on the streets of fashion week. Small bags by Jacquemus, classic Chanel bags, anything Bottega Veneta, and Prada 1990s inspired bags such as the hard-to-get Cleo.

Brief overview of other trends from the streets included the power suit, a lot of orange, loafers in every style you can think of, and pleated skirts; they’re back! Thoughts to ponder as you shop for fall. . .

SALEALERT! Soma Intimates is holding a fabulous sale this week. The retailer is celebrating 17 years with an Anniversary Sale! Love! All of their bra’s are on sale for $29 and you can pick up a $5 panty with the purchase of a bra. This sale starts today and runs through September 19, 2021. You can shop the sale online now at SOMA.com.

Heads up! Coach has a limited number of handbags from their NYFW spring 2022 runway collection online. You can snap one up before they go to market in the spring season! I picked one up in vanilla! Check out their collection online here.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!

Spring 2022 trends from NYFW

The last model has walked off the runway in New York, and the last video has been released. This means we have a whole new set of fabulous trends to covet for the upcoming spring/summer 2022 season. Love!

There are several trends from last year which appear to be continuing into 2022. We are looking at the continuation of the Power Suit, vivid colors, all-white ensembles, exaggerated shoulders, shoulder pads, and wide leg pants.

As we head into 2022, look for more tailoring on clothing in general. Loungewear is taking a backseat, as is urban street-wear. We are looking at getting dressed again. Think skirts, dresses, and powerful pants. Handbags are medium to small, and will hold only the necessities.

The decades of influence include the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Think late1900s. There will be grown-up florals, groundbreaking right? haha, and solid, all-one-hue ensembles. Orange, baby blue and pink appear to be the favorite hues of New York designers for spring/summer 2022. The orange power suit will be huge, HUGE!!!

We are also looking forward to daytime sequins, one-shoulder looks, blazers over anything, and much more structure than we have seen in recent seasons; even with wider leg pants. Get ready to dress up!

So, if you are looking at what to keep, store, donate, or sell from your closet, keep and store anything structured, or in brighter hues. Keep blazers, one-shoulder looks, and sequins. Donate extra loungewear, you only need some, not a closet full! Same with sweatpants, only keep what you need for the gym or wearing around the house. Next spring, casual days will include jeans with blazers and casual dresses. Sweatpants and flip-flops can stay home. That being said, look for comfort sandals and street sneakers paired with dresses and dress pants in spring 2022. Your feet can stay happy.
