Can you believe the holiday season is in full swing! People are already ordering their turkeys; myself included. Plus, everyone is diving right into holiday sparkle, shades of red and green, and Christmas decor. Seriously-so many homes in my neighborhood have already decorated for Christmas! It seems early. . .am I right?? I still have my fall wreath on the door. My Christmas wreath is still packed away in the garage. Maybe I need to pull it out early? What are you doing this year?

Anyway, let’s get back to what’s hot right now! After all, we are here to stay on top of the latest IT items and trends! As you know, faux leather is hot this season! You’ll find tons of jackets and pants to choose from. I love this pair of faux leather pants since they offer a self-tie belt, and a flattering silhouette. Plus, the faux leather looks real, and it’s very soft. Stay tuned! I will post photos of myself wearing them very soon!

Classic lip and nail colors are what’s in fashion right now. Shades of red are the ultimate IT nail polish color for the holiday season, and if red isn’t your thing, go for a classic shade of pink. Nails and makeup are timeless right now as we glide through the holiday season. The spring season will offer us brighter colors in apparel, and this tends to take nail color in a more classic direction; as not to compete with the overall outfit. Red and/or pink nail polish a good investment for right now.

‘Tis the season of gift giving! I love giving fabulous gifts to that special someone on my list, but I don’t always want to spend a ton of money; especially when buying several gifts at once! Therefore, holiday gifts under $100 are always ideal since I can control how much I am spending! My guess is that you feel the same way?!

Just because we are spending less than $100, doesn’t mean we need to take out the special meaning of the gifts. Do you have a Real Housewives fan on your list? This Panther ring will be perfect! Casual date night

Life has been so busy lately, my husband and I have not had a chance to go out together without the kids in months! In fact, we have only gone out once since the shut-down ended. About a week ago, we actually had a free Saturday evening, so we took advantage of it!

I have been to Flights in Los Gatos a handful of times with my mom for lunch, but my husband never had a chance to go. He had been missing out! Flights is a restaurant that serves different variations of a dish on the same plate; essentially a flight of food. It’s not only fun, creative, and fresh, it’s delicious!

My husband enjoyed a flight of skewers, while I ordered the seared ahi flight. We shared a plate of mixed mushrooms, and the french fries flight. It was a cool evening, and we ate on the patio, so I also ordered warm tea. It was perfect! The food was so good, and my husband was really impressed. He has a new favorite restaurant, that isn’t a sports bar! haha

Since I knew we would be on the patio, and Los Gatos is a California Casual type of place, I opted for my dark wash skinny jeans paired with my oversize, long sleeve top. To stay warm on the patio, I added my pink scarf. It was perfect for staying cozy outside on a cold evening.

If you are local to the Bay Area, be sure to try out Flights. They have locations in Los Gatos, Campbell, Burlingame, and Las Vegas (obvi not the Bay Area). If you go, make sure you get the french fries flight, it’s a must-have! If you love sushi, or fish in general, the seared ahi flight will knock your socks off. Yum!!
