Gucci Guilty pour homme after-shave is a classic scent from Gucci for men. The after-shave itself instantly calms the skin after an electric shave, or manual shave. In addition to calm skin, the fragrance experience is crisp, warm, and everything a man should smell like. Love that!

Top notes: zesty lemon, cool lavender, spicy pink pepper.

Middle notes: orange blossom

Base notes: patchouli, cedar, sandalwood, and amber

Gucci Guilty pour homme after-shave offers a warm citrus fragrance experience which ends the day with a warm, woody base. The light, spicy zing from pink pepper combines with lemon and orange blossom to create the ideal fragrance experience for moderate to warm weather. It is refreshing and warm; all at the same time!

I tested out Gucci Guilty pour homme after-shave on my husband. It calmed his skin after he shaved with an electric razor. The overall fragrance experience throughout the day was refreshing, crisp, warm, and inviting. Loved it!

Rose is the fragrance note of the moment. This means, rose-based fragrances are hotter than hot for the spring and summer 2015 seasons. If you love sweet florals, this is the season for you!

Rose scents offer a sweet floral fragrance experience which is easy to wear on a daily basis. Rose is not an overbearing fragrance note; making it inoffensive to most people. Rose based scents can easily be worn to the office, in the theater, and on warm days. Rose is a versatile fragrance note which works well under cold, moderate, and warm temperatures. Although normally associated with spring and summer, rose can easily be worn in the fall and winter months due to the warmth of its’ natural scent.

Although there are many rose-based scents on the market which offer classic, sweet floral fragrance experiences; spring and summer 2015 are offering new, more exotic mixes of the popular fragrance note. Victor & Rolf are offering a special edition of their popular “Flowerbomb” fragrance infused with rose as the heart of the fragrance. Some perfumers have even mixed sweet rose with far-east oud!

One of my favorite rose-based perfumes is Van Cleef & Arpels “Extraordinaire Rose Velours.” This rich rose fragrance offers a sweet rose fragrance experience which is not sticky. It is smooth and luxurious; much like all the of the fragrances in Van Cleef & Arpel’s “Extraordinaire” collection. If you love vanilla, I highly recommend “Orchidee Vanille.” It is rich, smooth, and arguably the most luxurious vanilla-based fragrance on Earth. Love! Now, I digress, we are talking about rose, not vanilla!

Dolce & Gabbana’s “Velvet Rose” is from the designing duo’s luxurious line of “Velvet” perfumes. “Velvet Rose” is an amazing blend of several rose notes with a slight musky base. This creates an incredible, rose-based fragrance experience, which is sweet, yet not sticky; and as luxurious as possible. 

The rose trend is not just limited to fragrance. Rose-based home fragrances are also all the rage this season. Rose lipstick is also a beauty trend for the spring and summer seasons. Of course, rose lipstick may not look good on everyone, nor will it match every outfit in ones’ closet. This makes a rose-based fragrance the easiest way to rock the rose trend this season. Rose-based fragrances work well for both casual and dressy occasions; and they are easy to wear both day and night. Love rose!

In addition to great shopping, Westgate recently opened a Veggie Grill, and is also home to yummy eateries including Sushi Boat, Smashburger, and Starbucks.

J. Crew Factory Store is a fabulous one-stop-shop for Mom this Mother’s Day. The store is filled with the perfect outfits for summer; plus it has a large selection of statement necklaces, scarves, handbags, and shoes. We know Mom LOVES shoes! If there are too many choices, Mom will love a gift card from J. Crew Factory Store. As a Mom, I have my eye on several pieces from J. Crew Factory. My picks are shown above.

Does Mom love shoes? Of course she does!!! This means Famous Footwear is the place to find her the ideal Mother’s Day gift. Famous Footwear is well-stocked with fabulous sandals for summer, and athletic shoes for her fitness routine. The store is filled with famous brands at rock-bottom prices. That’s win/win for you and Mom! My favorite shoes from in-store are pictured above. The blue sandals are calling my name; perhaps they are calling your Mom’s name too!

Paradise Collections is a fabulous jewelry kiosk located in the middle of Westgate Shopping Center to the left of Ross. The kiosk is filled with beautiful necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings; and the prices are amazing! Mom will be thrilled to receive a fabulous piece of jewelry from Paradise Collections. I am in love with the seahorse. Isn’t it fabulous?!

Luxury Perfumes is an amazing fragrance shop located near Nordstrom Rack at Westgate Shopping Center. This sweet-smelling shop features a large selection of fragrances which are sure to delight Mom this Mother’s Day. The store features a large selection of gift sets which make shopping for a gift easy. There is also a section dedicated to older fragrances which are extremely difficult to find in department stores, online, and elsewhere. They have Georgio in stock! That was extremely popular in the 1980’s. Mom will be thrilled if you gave her a fragrance she cannot find on store shelves anymore!

In addition to fragrances for Mom, Luxury Perfumes has a large selection of fragrances for men and children. Love that!
