Twisted Silver has done it again! The fabulous Bay Area jeweler has designed a classic necklace which can be worn casual with denim (as in the above photos) or as the perfect touch to a timeless, little black dress. Love this!

The “Elegance” necklace by Twisted Silver is made from vintage crystal and glass beads on an antiqued brass chain. The vintage beads feature soft shades of bluish-grey, amber, green and white. In today’s society, it is a chore to try and find goods sold in the United States which are also made in the United States. When it comes to handbags, the majority of manufacturers are located in China, while a few remain in Italy, the majority are in China. And as for the United States? Good luck finding a handbag made here!

Transitioning with Eclection

There is something about the month of August which always makes me want to ditch my summer wardrobe and move right into fall. Unfortunately, this is a little difficult to do in the San Francisco Bay Area. After all, our summer weather continues into late October; and sometimes early November! To solve this wardrobe dilemma, I look for color combinations which evoke an autumn feel yet can still pass for “normal” in August.

I was really excited when I first saw the new “Eclection” collection from Twisted Silver for late summer. The necklace and earrings offer the current trend towards smaller jewelry for fall 2013 in a transitional color palette! It is like Twisted Silver read my mind! Love them!
