Anchors Away!

Anchors are a huge trend this year. This nautical symbol is popping up everywhere on apparel, accessories and jewelry! Although considered classic, anchors have an important place in street style this year and Twisted Silver has designed the perfect jewelry collection for celebrating this sea-worthy trend; the “Anchors Away!” collection.

This eco-chic collection offers a lightweight pair of earrings and adjustable necklace. The necklace can be worn as a lariat or pendant necklace. Love that! Twisted Silver added a little bit of oceanic love to the “Anchors Away!” collection by pairing the anchors with a hearts and blue beads. What better way to celebrate your love for the sea!

I love wearing the necklace as a lariat and find the collection works perfectly with summer attire. Since navy is going to be a huge color in the fall 2013 color palette, Twisted Silver’s “Anchors Away!” collection will easily blend with fall attire due to the copper metal and blue beads. Love that!

In these photos I wore Twisted Silver “Anchors Away!” collection to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with my family and paired them with these fun elephant shorts from Banana Republic’s Milly collection. My kids adored the hearts and anchors, as well as the elephants!

Dainty jewelry returns: Twisted Silver’s Princess Rocker collection

Dainty jewelry reigned supreme on the fall/winter 2013/2014 runways in New York, Paris, Milan and London. Designers showed they are starting to move away from large statement pieces and more towards smaller, more personal jewelry styles.

For the summer 2013 season, Twisted Silver has felt this movement and has created a daintier collection than what we have seen in season’s past from the Bay Area jeweler. To start off the summer, Twisted Silver has given us a colorful yet dainty collection which is appropriately named the “Princess Rocker Collection.”

This beautiful collection is easy to wear with dressy or casual attire; and like many other collections from Twisted Silver, the “Princess Rocker Collection” can be worn several ways! My favorite way to wear the necklace and bracelet is when they are hooked together into one long necklace.

Of course the dainty bracelet looks amazing when stacked with other slim bracelets. The necklace, when worn alone, is a sassy chocker style that blends well with the current 1980’s apparel trend. Love that!

My favorite part about the “Princess Rocker Collection” from Twisted Silver is that each piece is unique. The bracelet and necklace each feature a one-of-a-kind piece of a vintage silver spoon which adds a unique twist to the pieces.

The “Princess Rocker Collection” can be found online at Twisted-Silver.com. The necklace is priced at $50 and the bracelet is priced at $40. Use coupon code INSIDERS for a 15% discount. Happy shopping, and stay fabulous

Twisted Silver offers the perfect summer staple; the Crush necklace

Dainty jewelry was spotted all over the fall 2013 runways in London, New York, Paris and Milan. This trend towards smaller baubles has resonated with jewelry fans everywhere and offers the perfect option for pairing jewelry with summer 2013’s loud prints and bold color trends. After all, who wants to overwhelm a fabulous floral dress with a gigantic necklace?! Not me! And not you!

The new “Crush” necklace from Twisted Silver is the perfect answer to the current trend towards smaller jewelry. This beautiful silver bead necklace offers an adjustable length and brass details which make it work perfectly with both yellow and white metals. The necklace also offers a small brass pendent with a glass bead which offers an artistic and edgy look to the otherwise basic piece. Love that!

The “Crush” necklace works perfectly with the current blouse trend as it easily peeks through a blouse which has one-two buttons undone. The necklace also works well with V-necks and summer dress necklines. When fall approaches, Twisted Silver’s “Crush” necklace will work perfectly over turtle necks and with sweaters. This can easily be a signature and staple piece in anyone’s wardrobe. Love it!

The “Twisted” tag on the “Crush” necklace can easily be worn in the front or back, adding versatility to the look of the necklace. The “Crush” necklace can also be wrapped around the wrist and stacked with other bracelets for a casual look. Three pieces in one! Fabulous!

The “Crush” necklace by Twisted Silver is priced at $40 and can be found online at Twisted-Silver.com. Use coupon code INSIDERS for a 15% discount. Happy shopping, and stay fabulous
