Twisted Silver’s Crush Earrings: signature earrings for the spring/summer season

The spring/summer season brings a new dainty jewelry trend to the forefront of both runway fashion and street style. In addition to small jewelry pieces being hot for the upcoming warm weather seasons, bright colors, neon hues and pastel shades will also dominate store shelves and the street. This makes the new “Crush Earrings” by Twisted Silver the perfect signature piece for the upcoming spring/summer 2013 season!

Twisted Silver’s new “Crush Earrings” are petite in size and big on style. The greenish hued crystal drop backed by a wavy brass disc creates a soft yet geometric look which resonates with the current silhouettes and prints of the new spring/summer 2013 season. With more blues, greens and purples in the color palette for 2013 than we saw in 2012, the greenish hue of the crystal drop works perfectly with the majority of color combinations Fashionistas will find themselves wearing for the spring/summer 2013 season. Love that!

The petite size combined with the style and color of the “Crush Earrings” from Twisted Silver makes these new earrings the perfect go-to pair for the spring/summer 2013 season; and they may very well become your signature jewelry for the New Year! Fabulous!

The “Crush Earrings” from Twisted Silver can be found online at Twisted-Silver.com for $30. Use coupon code INSIDERS for a 15% discount. Love it! Happy shopping, and say fabulous

Twisted Silver’s new Monogram Bracelet

In the 1960’s monogram pins, necklaces and sweaters were all the rage. This personalization trend enjoyed a resurgence in the 1980’s and then again when Carrie Bradshaw wore her “Carrie” necklace on HBO’s hit TV series “Sex and The City.” In 2012, the personalization trend has resurfaced and fashion-savvy women everywhere are pulling out their monogram necklaces from the “Sex and The City” era and wearing them proudly.

This time around, monogram’s have a taken a modern turn and no longer reflect one’s own personal initials. With vintage clothing and accessories being popular, many Fashionistas are wearing monograms they picked up in thrift or vintage shops as well as inherited or borrowed from an older relative. In addition to monograms no longer reflecting one’s personal initials, fashion-savvy women are wearing monograms in new and unexpected ways in order to reflect their own personal style rather than the trends from the 1980’s or 1960’s.

That being said, Twisted Silver has debuted a fabulous and innovative jewelry piece which reflects the current monogram trend in a new and unexpected way; the “Monogram Bracelet!”

The new “Monogram Bracelet” from Twisted Silver features a vintage 1960’s monogram pin which has been repurposed into a fabulous and bold bracelet. This beautiful vintage piece is worn alone on the wrist and showcases a fusion between vintage and modern style. Love that!

The “Monogram Bracelet” is made from beautiful raw brass and offers a golden tone which works perfectly with the fall/winter 2012/2013 color palette as well as the bright color trend which will be coming up in spring/summer 2013. The brass color and bold nature of Twisted Silver’s “Monogram Bracelet” allows this piece to be worn casually with jeans or dressy with a fabulous evening ensemble. Versatility = Fabulous!

Twisted Silver’s new “Monogram Bracelet” can be found online starting today at Twisted-Silver.com and is priced at $100. Use coupon code INSIDERS for 15% off! This will also make a fabulous holiday gift for the fashion-forward woman on your list  Love that too!

Wilkes Bashford is a name which draws ooohs and aaahs from Fashionistas around the Bay Area. Known for carrying the most beautiful designs from Italy’s top designers, Wilkes Bashford has been a San Francisco Bay Area icon since 1966.

This is the store our parents shopped at when we were growing up and as children; we would see all the beautiful clothing they brought home after a shopping trip to the city. Now, in 2012, the iconic shop is celebrating a make-over with newly, redesigned stores in both San Francisco and Palo Alto.

The Palo Alto location, which is near Neiman Marcus at the Stanford Shopping Center, is a cozy shop with both men’s and women’s attire. Shoppers can expect to find fabulous designs from designers such as Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Kiton, Valentino, Chloe, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and more.

The amazing mix of apparel, shoes, handbags, fine designer jewelry, fragrances and accessories is any fashion-savvy shoppers dream. The new, open floor plan in Palo Alto lets you, as a shopper, see the entire layout and easily find the department you wish to shop in right away. Love that!

In order to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of the Palo Alto location, Wilkes Bashford threw a fabulous cocktail party complete with runway show, DJ and live acrobats. The runway show featured fall and resort clothing from Italy’s top designers which drew ooohs and aaahs from the fashionable crowd.

Below you will find photos from the Grand Re-Opening event in Palo Alto which took place on Friday, November 16th from 7pm to 9:30pm.
