Pink nail polish, soft fabrics, and timeless handbags are all hot for fall; and can always withstand the test of time. Love that!

As we put together our understated outfits for the fall season, the runways in New York have been pushing the current flow of fashion by giving us bold colors, volume, and sparkle. What did we see in line with our current taste? The continuation of the anonymous handbag, more former IT bags reincarnated, solid colors not patterns, barely-there shoes (we saw a lot of bare feet), and soft fabrics. What does this mean for our current closets? Well, it’s good news!

This means we can keep our current style in spring 2027 and just add color! There might be a few more puffy sleeves and voluminous skirts on the market, but overall, we can add to our wardrobes with pops of colors, and color mixing. Our neutral pieces we have invested in can easily be mixed into the new, colorful look. You can check out my post about the upcoming spring 2027 color trends here.

That being said, let’s move back into the fall season. As we head towards cooler temperatures, continue to invest in soft fabrics, pink nail polish, and handbags which exude quality not logos. Love this!
