The Chanel spring 2017 nail polish collection is here! This year Chanel has taken an edgy yet classic approach to nail polish. The spring 2017 nail polish collection includes a pale, pinkish-beige color named “Beige Beige,” a clear, pearly white hue named “Blanc White,” and an avant-garde top coat with a black tinge named “Black Metamorphosis.”

Blanc White, and Beige Beige, are both part of the Longwear nail colour collection, while Black Metamorphosis is a sheer, color-tinged top coat. Here they are!

Chanel Beige Beige nail polish for spring 2017 is my favorite color from the collection. This is a sweet, pinkish-beige hue which is easy to wear daily. It is also a classic, spring color which captures the vibe of the season.

I used one base coat, and two coats of color with Beige Beige by Chanel. It is a cream polish, and with the second coat, did not show any streaks. Very pretty color!

Chanel Blanc White nail polish is a soft, sheer, pearly white hue which is a great neutral for the spring season. Although I am wearing Blanc White by Chanel on my hands at the moment, when sandal weather comes around, I plan to wear this color on my toes and go darker on my fingers.

I used one base coat, and two coats of color-no streaks! If you are looking for a clean looking color which is classic and easy to wear this spring, Blanc White is your hue!

There is always at least one color in Chanel’s seasonal nail polish collections which is new and exciting. Black Metamorphosis top coat is that color. It can take a sweet polish such as Beige Beige, or an understated hue such as Blanc White, and transform them into something avant-garde.

Black Metamorphosis top coat by Chanel is shown in this photo with three coats over Beige Beige. Topping Beige Beige off with Black Metamorphosis gave it a slightly pinkish undertone, causing the sheer black hue to take on a brownish-black vibe,

Did you catch that I used three coats? Ah yes, this top coat will streak like crazy if you are not careful! Also, it does not apply evenly, so the streaks are extremely pronounced with fewer coats. It is up to you how you want to wear Chanel Black Metamorphosis top coat. You can wear one coat, which shows off the underneath color the most, and leaves a heavily streaky coat on top, or you can tone the streaks down with two coats.

I prefer to see more of the top coat, then the color underneath, so I applied a third coat. Streaks drive me crazy, so I had to keep applying it until I felt it was as non-streaky as possible; without compromising the effect of allowing the underneath color to show through just a little bit. 😉

The pinkish-brownish-charcoalish-blackish result of three coats of Black Metamorphosis over Beige Beige turned out to be a color I really love for spring. It is a little edgy, a little bit different, and a new way of looking at creating color on my nails. Love that!

A camel coat is so classic and chic. I am not sure why I have never owned a camel coat in all my years on Earth! When I spotted this faux shearling, camel coat, I instantly knew it had to be my first. I love the details, the soft came hue, the faux fur (we only do faux here in the Bay Area), and the cozy nature of the piece.

There was something of a 1970s vibe to this coat when I first tried it on, so I decided to wear this camel coat with boot cut jeans and my prized Chloe Hudson. It needed an overall, ’70’s inspired look, so I jumped in!

The camel coat has turned out to be soft and cozy; I love wearing it! It is comfortable, cozy, and I feel like it makes me appear slightly taller! Sadly, I am always seeking outfits which lengthen my short frame. I want to be tall, tall, taller!

My cute little ten-year-old daughter took these photos while we were Christmas shopping at Santana Row. I think she did a good job! She was rewarded with a yummy brunch at Left Bank; our favorite brunch place on the Row!

After brunch, the two of us walked around Santana Row admiring the decorations, and taking in the holiday cheer. If you are local to the Bay Area, and have not been to Santana Row since they decorated, you must go! The entire place is filled with holiday cheer; it is so beautiful! I love everything from the giant wreaths, to the large red bows on the lampposts, to the beautiful, larger-than-life trees. It is a must-see! It is as if Clinique has answered my prayers! Clinique’s Acne Solutions plus line correcting serum is the product I have been waiting for all my life. You have no idea how thankful I was when Clinique first told me about it!

Since my undergrad years at USF, I have suffered from acne. I thought as I aged, my acne would go away. Instead, my acne has been joined by fine lines which I know will someday turn into wrinkles. My assumption is that the acne will remain too. Ugh! The horror! But I digress. . .

The Clinique Acne Treatment plus fine lines serum is exactly the treatment I need to treat both my adult acne, and my fine lines. It has been difficult over the years trying to find an acne product I can combine with a product which teats fine lines. Usually these types of products are counter-productive. Let’s face it, acne treatments usually try to dry out the oils and clean up the pores which cause acne. Fine line treatments try to add moisture to the skin to restore youth. These two things don’t play well together!

Instead of trying to combine products, and ending up without any results, Clinique has found a way to treat both problems with one product; resulting in actual results! Love that! I received my bottle of Clinique Acne Solutions + line correcting serum about one month ago. I have been using it daily according the directions. Words can’t even describe how happy I am!

Over the past month, I have watched my acne get under control; so I look like an adult. Love! I have also watched my fine lines look less visible. This is great news! Botox and fillers will never be an option for me; I plan to grow old gracefully. That being said, I want to make sure I have the right products in my arsenal so that I can indeed, grow old gracefully.

I am extremely happy with, and thankful for, Clinique Acne Treatment + line correcting serum. It is the magic potion my crazy, combination skin needs to stay as smooth as possible, for as long as possible! Love!
