It is officially spring! Yay! So, there is no excuse to not integrate spring into our wardrobes, despite the cooler temperatures outside. I think the groundhog missed the mark this year! Brrrr!

The easiest way to make our looks reflect spring is with nail polish, handbags, and color. Look for uplifting hues such as green, yellow, pink, red, blue, and orange. These pops of color will instantly bring a cold weather outfit into the spring season, without sacrificing warmth and turning into an ice cube!

As you know, the anonymous handbag continues to reign supreme as well as investment jewelry and timeless footwear. Continue to invest in long-lasting, wardrobe essentials. Stay tuned for more spring coverage!

Times Square and a Broadway Show

These are my touristy photos! haha. We decided to wander around Times Square, which of course, is just a bunch of people hanging around. The highlight was seeing the famous ball. It looks really pretty in person. I regret not going at night to see it lit up in all its glory.

If you hang around social media, you may have seen the video where a girl is telling you turn the phone upside down in order to get taller backgrounds into the photo. We did this! The reason my legs look weirdly long is because my daughter held the phone upside down to snap this photo. It’s actually pretty funny how I turned out in the picture! The trick does work because we were able to get all the tall buildings in the photograph. So distorted body aside, it works! haha

One of the bucket list items everyone needs to do while in New York is see a Broadway show. We decided to see Alladin, and we were blown away. Not only were the actors absolutely amazing, especially the Genie, the set and costumes were out of this world. They don’t allow photography during the show, so I am sharing a photo of the stage I snapped twenty minutes before showtime. Isn’t the theater incredible?

So, if you are looking for a show to see which is appropriate for the whole family, I highly recommend Alladin! It was incredible and I would definitely go see it again!

The cherry blossoms are out, and the rain has slowed down, so this means spring is on the horizon! This spring season, we are seeing uplifting hues such as green, yellow, pink, blue, red, and shades of orange. In addition to happy hues, neutrals and black still remain strong, so combining the colors will make the perfect spring palette. If you are tired of neutrals and looking for a pop of color, this is your season!

The anonymous handbag continues as we move forward into 2024. The runways for fall 2024 also show a continuation of high-quality handbags, shoes, and clothing, sans logos. While some logos graced the catwalks, the overall consensus is that logos continue to be gauche.

When it comes to footwear this spring, look for understated street sneakers, ballet flats, flats, loafers, and spring booties. Don’t worry, sandal season is around the corner!
