Chanel Lavanda nail polish is a fabulous purple nail colour from Chanel’s summer 2015 beauty collection. This bright purple hue is warm and playful; allowing it to work well with summer’s bright color palette. Love that!

Lavanda by Chanel is a cream nail polish color with a sleek, high-gloss finish. The first coat goes on with a thin coat of color. To achieve the bottle color with streaking, the second coat needs to be thick, or else a total of three thin coats need to be applied. The end result is a marvelous purple nail polish which brightens each day. Love purple!!!

I tested out Chanel Lavanda with one base coat, two coats of color (three of my nails needed three coats), and no top coat. Lavanda by Chanel lasted longer than most Chanel nail polishes. It was seven days before I received a chip! I am definitely in love 😉 As a note, during those seven days I did some housecleaning without wearing gloves, and I spent some time in the warm sun. The cleaning chemicals, and the direct sunlight did not fade, crack, or weaken my Chanel Lavanda nail polish. That is a rare and notable occurrence!

Chanel Lavanda will be a fabulous nail polish to wear this summer 2015 season; as well as right now! The color works well with the seasons’ color palette and the nail polish is long lasting. This means spending time in the sun, and enjoying outdoor activities, are a little bit less stressful; you will not have to worry about chipping your nail polish, especially with the addition of a top coat. Fabulous!

Chanel Terrana is a beautiful, sparkling brown nail polish hue from Chanel’s summer 2015 nail polish collection. Terrana by Chanel is the most neutral hue of the four summer nail polish colors Chanel created for the hot weather season.

Chanel Terrana offer a warm, milky chocolate brown color with sparkles which works perfectly with the seasons’s spicy summer color palette. For summer 2015, we are seeing a lot of neutrals, browns, oranges, and “spice” hues which look amazing with brown nail polish. Chanel Terrana nail polish is ideal to wear as a neutral shade this summer since it will look perfect with a summer wardrobe; and it is neutral. Love that!

I tested out Chanel Terrana nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and no top coat. The nail polish lasted six days before chipping. I know if I used a top coat, it would have lasted longer than six days. 

The sparkles in Chanel Terrana catch the light when you are outside giving off a dazzling, gemstone-like essence. The light chocolate hue is not too dark, so this shade of brown does not give off a “fall season” vibe; just a summer vibe! Perfection 😉

Chanel Terrana is also a great nail polish hue to add to ones’ nail polish wardrobe. It is a classic, neutral hue which can easily be worn throughout the year. It does not scream “2015” and can transcend seasonal color trends. Love that!

Nail polish for spring 2015 has a dark side; and it is Tom Ford’s Black Jade nail polish hue. This deep, dark, sparkling forest green will trick you into thinking it is a fall color. Yet, when set against spring colors for 2015, Tom Ford Black Jade nail polish compliments the spring 2015 color palette by adding an unexpected feeling to any ensemble. Love that!

This was my first Tom Ford nail polish purchase. I have one lipstick by him, which I love, so I decided I should test out Tom Ford’s nail polish. I love it! The application brush was easy to use and the nail polish went on smooth. The dark nature of Black Jade soon made me realize the nail polish needed three coats for full coverage. With three coats, Tom Ford Black Jade offers streak-free coverage and a slight sparkle underneath the deep, dark color of the polish. It is definitely fabulous.

I tested out Tom Ford Black Jade nail polish with one base coat, three coats of color, and no top coat. I did receive one chip within twenty four hours, but the chip was small; although surprising. I continued to wear the nail polish and it did not receive any additional chips for seven days. I had to take it off when my nail growth was starting to show on my nail beds.

Tom Ford has a large selection of colors, and for spring 2015, he also has a beautiful blue hue named Indigo Night. I am looking forward to trying out more Tom Ford nail polish colors in the future. For spring 2015, I am thrilled with Black Jade!
