 It is always fun to try new out new cosmetics. When I received a box containing an eye color palette, lip gloss, lipstick, and skin care products for a Borghese review, I was thrilled! I love the Fango clay products by Borghese, so trying out their makeup is a natural next step!

The Eclissare Color Eclipse color palette contains twelve eye shadow colors which are classic neutrals. I love the beautiful shades of brown, golden hues, and charcoal tones. It is easy to create casual eyes, daytime eyes, office appropriate eyes, and glam evening eyes with this color palette!

In addition to the Borghese Eclissare Color Eclipse eye shadow palette, I tested out Borghese’s Superiore Mascara, and Borghese’s Eclissare Color Eclipse eye liner. The mascara offers a smooth application without clumping, and the eye liner applies in a smooth straight line.

Borghese’s lip glosses offer a sheer color application with a slight sparkle, making them perfect for evening, or holiday parties. The lipstick in Grappa is a great winter wine which is easy to wear during the day or in the evening. For a glam evening look, the Simmer lip gloss applied over the Grappa lipstick makes a perfect night lip!

No-one likes clumpy or streaking makeup, therefore Borghese’s Face Primer is a must-have in every makeup bag. It offers a smooth base for foundation, or powder makeup. Love that!

Of course, the Fango face cleaner is fabulous! It is a clay cleaner which is great at gently removing air pollution, makeup, and natural oils which build up during the day.

Nars Black Fire nail polish is a an almost-black nail hue from Nars Steven Klein beauty collection. This special winter beauty collection features colors with that WOW factor. I have loved all three of the nail polish hues from this collection! Read my reviews of Night Creature and Hard to Get.

Black Fire by Nars is incredible alternative to plain black nail polish. This deep, dark color is more of a charcoal than a black. There are matte sparkles in the nail polish which add dimension. Nars Black Fire nail polish also has a very slight blue tone to it; making it an incredible, unique nail polish color. Love!

I tested out Nars Black Fire nail polish with one base coat, two coats of Black Fire, and one top coat. The polish lasted a full week; although I tend to credit this amazing top coat for the longevity of any nail polish I test out lately. The only reason I needed to repaint my nails was due to nail growth. I never received a chip in Black Fire! Love that!

Nars Black Fire nail polish is a great polish to keep in one’s nail polish wardrobe. Although a winter hue, Black Fire is a neutral color which can be worn during any season. It works with both warm and cold color palettes; acting as classic as black can be. Now that is perfection 😉

I am looking forward to wearing Narc Black Fire nail polish any time I need an edgy neutral to compliment my look.

For a holiday look, I would recommend topping off Nars Black Fire nail polish with a silver, glittery top coat such as this one.

Dolce & Gabbana Dora classic cream lipstick holidays 2015

Dolce & Gabbana Dora is a bright red, classic cream lipstick. In the tube, Dolce & Gabbana Dora appears to be an orange-red hue. When I applied it, the color seemed slightly more pinkish than orangish; as it had looked out of the box.

I am not sure if it became a pink-red due to my natural lip color, or if that is how Dolce & Gabbana Dora is meant to perform. Nevertheless, orange-red lipsticks scare me, so to see it take on a pink-red format after application was a breath of relief! I just don’t do orange.

Dolce & Gabbana’s collection of classic cream lipsticks are a must-have in anyone’s make-up wardrobe. They are mousturzing, long-lasting, offer a smooth application, and provide fabulous color saturation. Normally they look the same in the tube, and on the lips; Dora is an anomaly for me. An anomaly in a good way! I love pink-red’s!

Now that the holiday season is in full swing, Dolce & Gabbana Dora is a fabulous classic cream lipstick to have on hand. It is a festive, bright hue, which adds a little bit of “party” to any ensemble; casual or dressy. This is also a great alternative to classic, fire engine red lipstick hues.

Dora by Dolce & Gabbana is a great red lipstick to keep on hand throughout the year; it is not just a holiday color. It will work well with any color palette; and is the perfect way to brighten your face when wearing classic black. Classic red lipstick + classic black = perfection 😉

If you have not tried Dolce & Gabbana classic cream lipstick, Dora is a great color to get as your first tube. This is an easy red to wear, and it isn’t too bright; like most classic red lipsticks. Love that!
