Laura Mercier’s new Creme Cheek Color in Praline for the spring 2014 season is the perfect hue for the season’s color palette. This dark peachy color plays well with both orange hued lipsticks as well as shades of pink. It also works beautifully with neutral eye shadows and natural eye shadow looks. Perfection!

The creamy texture of Laura Mercier’s Creme Cheek Color is new for me. I normally use a powder cheek color with a brush. The creamy texture is amazing because it goes on smoothly and lasts all day without needing to be reapplied like the dry powders I am used to using. This is a huge plus for me! Also, despite the fact that it is a cream, Laura Mercier’s Creme Cheek Color does not clog my pores; it is lightweight! Love that!

I am now a huge fan of Laura Mercier’s Creme Cheek Color and look forwarding to trying new colors every season! For spring 2014, Praline is the perfect hue and will match both brightly colored apparel as well as pastels. I look forward to wearing Praline everyday this season!

“Petal” by Dolce & Gabbana is a classic pink nail polish which is the perfect hue for the spring season. This medium pink shade plays well with spring 2014’s color palette of both bright colors and vivid pastels. “Petal” could be considered a neutral pink which makes it work with both cool and warm colors making it an easy color to wear everyday.

Dolce & Gabbana “Petal” is long lasting; I wore the nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color for seven days before seeing a chip. Love that! This is the perfect, classic pink nail polish to keep in one’s nail polish collection and enjoy for seasons come.

Laura Mercier’s new spring 2014 collection offers warm and fresh hinges of color which leave your beauty look fresh and natural. This is an important beauty look for the spring since apparel is offering bright colors, patterns and prints. A natural, fresh beauty look will compliment and not compete with the styles of the season.

I was thrilled to see “Brigitte” by Laura Mercier for the spring. As a huge fan of last year’s “60’s Pink,”  I was looking forward to a light colored lip for the warm weather season in an updated color. Laura Mercier’s “Brigitte” lipstick delivers on my wish. “Brigitte” is a pale peach lipstick hue which is soft and warm. I have found this color works perfectly with apparel in shades of blue, pink, green, yellow and mixed prints which include these colors. 

Heavy make-up has never been  my style; especially since heavy make-up is frowned upon here in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a natural make-up kind of place! This makes Laura Mercier’s new “Brigitte” lipstick the perfect go-to lipstick of the season. It will work perfectly with the current color palette and blend well with the season’s biggest trends. Love that!

Laura Mercier’s “Brigitte” has also been my go-to lipstick at New York Fashion Week this week; it has been long lasting and moisturizing. Love that! I am looking forward to wearing Laura Mercier’s “Brigitte” lipstick all through spring 2014!
