Bond No. 9 Nuits de Noho review

Can you tell I have been wearing my Bond No. 9 Nuits de Noho edp often? The bottle is getting quite low! I have been wearing Nuits de Noho for years, so I was surprised when I realized I had never reviewed it here on the blog! How did this slip through the cracks?

Bond No. 9 Nuits de Noho edp is an unique eau de parfum which has a gourmand undertone on an otherwise fruity floral. This is a complex scent, making it one of my favorite fragrances of all time. The top notes include Mandarin, Bergamot, and Pineapple Leaves. The heart of the fragrance consists of Jasmine and Rosewood. Then the base offers Patchouli, Vanilla and Musk.

Don’t let the jasmine scare you! Sometimes jasmine scents can be too sweet, but not with Nuits de Noho. It a very slight part of the heart making the fragrance smooth and beautiful. This is one of my go-to fragrances despite the fact that I typically shy away from jasmine. Love!

The only reason I can think of not reviewing Bond No. 9 Nuits de Noho sooner is that I bought my first bottle before I started my blog in 2010. I guess better late than never! haha

I hope you love this edp as much as I do, it is one of my all-time favorites!

Who doesn’t love a beautiful vanilla fragrance? I know I do! In fact, this one by Van Cleef & Arpels is absolutely extraordinary.

To be frank, my bottle is ten years old. I have a lot of perfume, which is why it looks used in my photo, but not completely empty. I store my perfumes in a cool, dark closet to preserve them. So, when people say perfume has an expiration, or that it goes bad, the bottle has to be really old or stored incorrectly. My bottle of Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidee Vanille edp smells just as beautiful today as the day I originally purchased it.

This version of vanilla by Van Cleef & Arpels is smooth, warm, and long lasting. It is a timeless fragrance you can wear all year long, in any weather. The citrus notes make it ideal in warm weather while the warm vanilla and woods make it ideal in cool weather. Orchidee Vanille works in any season, making it a fabulous vanilla investment fragrance. Love that!

Not all fragrances are made with top quality ingredients. After all, my bottle is a decade old, and it smells perfect; and lasts all day on my skin! Love!

I’m all about a beautiful scent, and also quality. Which is why Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidee Vanille edp is my favorite vanilla fragrance. It is also why I do own other eau de parfum’s from Van Cleef & Arpels, so stay tuned for another review!

It has come to my attention that I have perfume I never reviewed on the blog! How did this happen? Never fear, I am going to fix this oversight! You will see me reviewing a few bottles over the course of this summer.

I purchased my first bottle of Hermes 24 Foubourg edp sometime in the 1990s. This is a classic woody floral from a time when leaving a trail was everything. If you use more than one spray, you will leave a trail with this fragrance! So, in modern times, one spray is perfect and makes this timeless fragrance as modern perfume can be. Love that!

Do you love a timeless woody floral? I sure do! Hermes 24 Foubourg edp offers a warm fragrance experience which is long lasting, classic, and comforting. The notes in Hermes 24 Foubourg edp include white flowers, orange blossom, and jasmine along with an amber and vanilla base. The result is outstanding. If you love a warm, woody floral, this eau de parfum is a must-have in your fragrance collection.

As a warm woody floral, I prefer Hermes 24 Foubourg edp in the fall, winter, and spring. But, it does work well on cooler summer days. This is a classic fragrance which can be worn throughout the year, and transcends the test of time and fragrance trends. Love that!
